I tend to agree with him and said so to Streetwise in another thread. I think it's 50-50 right now that he's playing for us Week 1.

I think those odds are a little high . I think 50-50 by week 4. If we don't win without him, Jerry folds and knows that the extra coin he gives to Zeke, he won't have to spend on Dak.

Giants know what they will get with Zeke. They have no idea about Pollard and company. Advantage Cowboys.

I would love to know how not having the best running back in the league on your team is a "good problem to have". What? So other the G-Men won't be able to game plan the Boys. LMAO! Does Jerry think it's a good problem to have because we were fortunate how things turned out when Emmitt sat out the first two games? C'mon wake up and smell the astro turf. We are not a team that can win games unless all of our best players are on the field.

This assumes Pollard and Company can play at an NFL level.

That fact has not been proven thus far. Preseason games are not a yardstick of what happens when a rookie steps on the field for the first time against an opponent who is concentrating on stopping him.

He could be greatness. But as of this moment, there is no evidence either way.

I believe there is a lot of wishful thinking going on with fans concerning Pollard.

But then I am a show me guy.

If he don’t show then I think because he is doing this holdout and not out there with his teammates 2 years early in this contract. 1 year left on his 4 year deal. I think there may be locker room problems amongst some of the players. These guys in the NFL honor there rookie contracts, as far as I know there has never been another player do this so soon. He is in the wrong even though he is out performing his deal.

The NFL is watching what JJ is doing here. It could set a bad trend if he caves and pays him. His snake of a agent couldn’t have kept it in house.

LOL that is completely unfair to Pollard. I can see it already that people will jump on Pollard when he goes 20 for 75 yards.

He didn’t say Zeke being away was good. He is saying having so many players that you have to pay and are worthy of being paid is a good problem to have. He said it means you have evaluated young talent and drafted well. He said the media tends to overblow these situations and that Jerry and Stephen have done it so many times that they know what they’re doing and will get it all done in the end.

I doubt he plays and I wouldn’t play either. Until week 6 or whatever to get a season credit.

Not sure about this at all.....in fact, DLaw and Freadbeard have already voiced their support for him. Hell, even Jerry and Stephen apparently have no problem with the 2 years left on his rookie deal, other they wouldn't have even bothered negotiating ( like Jags responded to Ramsey request), let alone making offers.

This is so far from true it’s ridiculous. Every team would take facing Pollard instead of Zeke 10 out of 10 times. Advantage Cowboys would be Zeke fully ready to go with a new weapon as a compliment in Pollard. Make them prepare for Zeke not knowing how and when you will use Pollard.

I think he definitely sits out the first game. if pollard has a good game and we win, he'll be back for the second. if not, he'll hold out the second as well. he'll hold out as long as it suits his purposes. the minute it doesn't, he'll be back.

Too many future contracts coming up to give in to a player with 2 more years left (sends a bad message to the other agents). It's gonna take either him getting desperate or the cowboys playing like crap for him to play

I just wondering what the offer to him is. SJ said it starts with gurly money, that’s 14.2 a year.
