I'm watching the game right now, and it's midway into the 2nd quarter. It's 26 to nil Raiders and the Air Raid Offence of Kingsbury and Murray look awful. Good thing this isn't the Cowboys getting beaten like this, even in preseason. This is just awful. The entire Cards offence (except maybe Fitz) looks horrendous.

Well, Brett Hundley just marched the Cards down for a TD and looked impressive. That's interesting. 26-7

Well, idk. Let's just say, I know it's preseason, but, if we had gotten him 1 overall and he played like this, this forum would go absolutely mental and calling him a bust.
Agreed. But what a short memory people have from the gushing just one week ago.

That's true. I don't suppose we'll see that here either this week. Funny how the NFL works likes that. He looks nothing like a no 1 pick, and he looked exposed. He really struggled with the blitz and pressure. Think the Rams, Seahawks, and 49ers didn't figure that out?

I never thought he was an NFL quarterback. So if he doesn't succeed I wouldn't call it a bust. Did anyone consider Tebow a bust? Yet he was drafted in the first round. Now I know Murray is better than Tebow. Just saying I never thought either one of them were worth a first round pick let alone #1 overall. But hey, I've been wrong on many occasions.

A QB with head on his shoulders should be able to do it regardless how much of dud. Comparing a rookie to a guy that has started and played in this league for 3-4 years is bad comparison.

Murray looks like a dud. They're emphasising that Murray knows the offense better than anyone else, but Hundley looks >>>> better and is moving the sticks?

Murray's instincts look wrong. He doesnt step up into the pocket when there is outside pressure. His first instinct seems to be to go backwards rather than stepping up. Having good mobility doesnt work as well against faster NFL defenders. He's going to get hit too much and likely injured.

I actually could see that last night. He looked like he'd be a better RB or WR. And I was quite shocked that he basically fell and gave himself up for a safety the way he did. It was like he was completely unaware that he was in the end zone. I would give him the benefit of the doubt and say he slipped had it not been for 1. He had just given himself up the previous play and 2. He clearly just fell intentionally.

Yes, and, as I said to @Flamma , he looked like he was not aware at all in the pocket. He was running backward a lot, and he fell in the end zone for a safety when he easily could've gotten rid of it. If he's going to succeed in the NFL, he can't do that. He tries that against Aaron Donald, and he'll give up monster sacks.

I will LOL pretty hard if Rosen turns out to be good and Murray is a bust.

*Still early and not rooting for Murray to suck.

Wasn't a good showing for Murray, and that was his "Welcome to the NFL" intro.

Rosen looked ok in his first outing with the Dolphins. Made a couple of tough throws.

Some of his throws were maddening where he tossed the ball while going down. But then showed some good touch and poise on others. Good luck to him behind that offensive line. Hope he has a good life insurance plan
