Cowherd's probably the most cerebral broadcaster out there.

Completely agree. The sports media is full of a bunch of idiots these days. I always like listening to Cowherd. He did a skit once on buying a cell phone. It was hysterical. He said something like..."I told the guy I just need a phone I don't need the phone to bake salmon." Cracked me up. I think he is great.

Like Jerry did it out of the kindness of his heart lol. Jerry did it because Zeke was the best player on his team and he needed him in order to win. Let's don't kid ourselves here.

Thank you rocyaice! Someone finally said it! If this were Darius Jackson he wouldn't waste his breath. Jackson woukd have been released immediately! Or even the great Rico Gathers...he would have gotten the same treatment.

I get that. But he still did it, so regardless of the motive zeke should at least have some sense of thoughtful ness to the situations at hand.

He may have, still spent 2 million to help Zeke, got fined to help Zeke. Now, what even ridicoulous is you spouting off again. Everybody knows Jerry's close relationships and loyalties to his players, sometimes to a fault. He's done it for lesser players and even assistant coaches, go read what he did for Josh Brent or Anthony Lynn. I'd put my money on it being "out of the kindness of his heart" rather than for the need on the field.

He's an idiot, but he pulls one out of his butt once in a while. Heck, even Garrett gets a call right every so often.

200.webp

Garrett never does anything right!!!

Not to mention it wasn’t a $6Million a year favor, maybe just a couple hundred K...
Exactly lol......I mean I get it Jerry was protecting his investment but that's what it was lol. Wasn't a charity case lol.

These are INVESTMENTS lol. Jesus y'all will eat up anything. Ask him to meet Zeke's demands out of the kindness of his heart......oh what? Now that heart isn't that kind now is it? Its a business. Keep eating up whatever he feeds you but I'm not going to. Like he said in regards to Zeke not liking his joke about im......"I've heard the right to joke". He's earned the right to do whatever he wants in his mind.

He did it because he benefited his pockets. Not because of he cares about Zeke. Its all business. Allen Hurns got cut after getting hurt last season. Jerry cut him out of the kindness of his heart?

That commentary is one that came from someone who isn't even a C-boys fan but knows a thing or two when it comes to pure logic. I do agree with him, wholeheartedly. Zeke should have enough sense to know better than to bite the hand that not only feeds you but goes above and beyond the call of duty to "have his back." Most 5th graders have enough sense to figure that out. What's even more amazing is that EE's agent can't. Loyalty counts!
