FRISCO, Texas — Giants linebacker Alec Ogletree was asked Monday after practice about the possibility of Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott ending his contract holdout in time to play in Sunday’s season opener between the teams at AT&T Stadium.

“I hope he does show up,” Ogletree said. “I hope he gets what he wants to get. In order to be the best, you have to play everybody that’s the best, and he’s one of the best in the league.”

File this in the be-careful-what-you-wish-for drawer, because, Zeke is indeed back. And that’s not good news for the Giants.

I wasn't worried about the Giants before Zeke signed.

I am not worried about the Giants after Zeke has signed.
Not worried about them either but make no mistake about it it won't be a cakewalk. I've never seen it . throw out the records it's a division game . I can't wait for the battle I'm starting to shake already

I don't think I've read a quote from a player hoping someone isn't going to play. At least an active player anyways.

Cause I know some DT's, even Randle have commented on going up against Larry Allen and not liking it lol.
They probably wished in their head LA would miss that game.

The Giants are going to be sorry they stepped off the bus.
They're going to get slapped around for four quarters

Just once just once I’d like to see this team come out with fire in their belly ready to mash a team into bean paste

Our team motto should be “kick butt until you smell it “

Pollard or Zeke would have 100+ yards against their defense. Our first three games may be the three worst teams in the league and are all currently ranked in the bottom four. Wake me up when we play New Orleans.

NY headlines should be fun come Monday morning. Not just about this, but I bet they will be calling for Jones to start week 2. They probably already have the headline and presses waiting.

Dude, the Cowboys have lost to the "worst" teams in the NFL for years and years. To assume we'll win, against anybody, is pretty bold.

Please list some of these "worst teams in the NFL" we have lost to over the past few years. We lost some games the beginning of last year we should've won but our coordinator forgot how an offense is supposed to run, and we lost some games in 2017 that we could've won, however, we tried to play without an LT and it didn't work out so great.

September 4th 1996, Cowboys 35, Giants 0.

That's what is coming to Big D on Sunday.
