Those who know, already knew how good JD was/is. #27 only issue is with a coach who doesn't play him enough. No surprise here.

I don't know if that's true, but he may well have the best nose for the ball of the bunch.

Lewis and Brown both played about 800 snaps in 2017.
INTs in 2017
Brown 2
Lewis 1

They each had an INT in 2018 but Lewis obviously played less snaps.

Of course that was Lewis rookie year getting his feet wet, but in any case none of them get many INT's, but it seems to me Lewis is there to bat away more balls relative to his playing time than others. Admittedly that's just my perception, and I freely admit my perception may not line up with reality.

I don’t understand why they refused to give the ball to barkley even when they were up 7 down 7 and the game was tied at 7

They had 2 guys with over 100 yards, each with 11 touches. if they wanted to win they would have continues to run barkley. maybe what they want is to get better picks and go for it next year when our team and philly's team lose a few more star players.

Jourdan Lewis is our best DB. Not surprised about the stat. Richard better get over the fact he isn't an ideal height. The guy is special and should be starting.

question on that. Did lewis come in on obvious passing downs? How often were the giants running the ball when lewis was on the field? That could explain some of that perception.

I don't think this is fair, especially to compare him to Chido and Byron.

Just against the Giants...he had 27 coverage snaps, but that stat doesn't say how many times he had perfect coverage. And it also doesn't mention the fact that he's covering...I don't even know who. Scrubs lol.

The numbers are probably a lot different if he's covering top WRs. I like Lewis, but this is kind of a reach.
They didn't say anything about numbers. They said he has the most talent.

LEWIS could be Papa Smurf size, I DONT CARE...the dude is a special player. OUR BEST DB. Chido is right there too.

I think their play will make Byron expendable. If Lewis plays, that is.
I think it already has maybe...Byron may be a trade piece. My fear is we trade Lewis instead at the deadline. It would be a terrible move. I actually prefer keeping them all and making Byron accept a different role..maybe a hybrid Monster backer to utilize his ability all over.

position coaches in general tend to pidgeon hole them selves into this height weight thing...and I don't understand that thinking. Good ballers, BALL...no matter. THEY WIN. Look at NE...QB is the only real position I can think of, where height matters. Other than that, its a non factor as long as you can play well.

he does what he does. HE COVERS and gets the ball. He broke up a sure TD pass Sunday..very difficult to defend a crossing route ..but he did.
No DB on the roster mirrors as well as Lewis. Maybe he's always late to meetings or has a bad attitude or won't listen to coaches or something, I don't know.

that's all I can think about too. He is almost glued to his man everytime you look. I would want that guy covering the opposing teams best WR. Hes been durable, reliable, and trustworthy in coverage. Best of all..AVAILABLE. Love Richard...hes my guy,but on this, HE HAS IT WRONG.
