He probably should have signed the jersey. Might have gotten a new fan for life.

That said, it's not a big deal that he didn't. He DEFINITELY should not have taken this to Twitter and gotten involved that way. It's not the lack of signing that makes him look like an ***, to me. It's the tweet.

If you believe your actions are warranted, there is no reason to defend them on the internet.
Lol...

You guys must have never been introduced to the mad swarm that is Twitter followers. Let me guess. You have less than 10....

His justification is timely and just fine.

I for one don't mind the fact that he did not bow to the social justice mob.

I would never put my child in that position to begin with. I mean he is decked out in full Giants facepaint. Get a life people. Go shove the kid in front of some Giants players. And that is Lawrence's general point.

Hes a good dude, hes young and made a mistake. Social media makes it much worse. I am not a big fan of posting everything on social media outlets. We all know people in our family that practically live on Facebook and other sites...its usually because they crave the attention and or are lonely..unhappy. SOMETIMES it can be a useful tool...but more times than not,its bad.

Bahahahaha.. Oh man, I don't care. That was funny. Welcome to loyalty kid.

But, yeah, would've been better if Dlaw did sign.. But, he didn't. He is obligated too. I couldn't see Staubauch signing for a kid in a Mean Joe Greene jersey back in the day. Orrrrrrrr.. Irvin signing for a kid in a Niners/Eagles/Commanders/Giants jersey back in the day. lol

Then you don’t know Staubauch, who was an outstanding human being and a Christian who could differentiate between an adult wearing a jersey and a little kid. Smh.

First Lawrence signs this kids towel and then the next time when there be a bunch of kids lined up before or after a game wanting an autograph and DLAW has to sign them all or other not look like he is brushing off kids.

But, since some people are making such a big deal out of it, then I'm wondering whether or not the front office will reprimand D-Law and make him apologize or send something autographed to the kid.
I certainly hope so.

You have no idea how I raised my kids. Grown up, responsible, caring, giving and hard working. You still don't get it. Children fans should be off limits, including opposing teams children fans. When an opposing child fan excitedly asks for a simple autograph, D-Law should have gladly and wisely given it. It would have done wonders for D-Law, the Cowboys and especially that young child. To argue this as wrong shows you simply don't get it and probably never will. Sad.

Your style is what creates school shooters.

I was looking for the right words to express my anger at the hate that people are expressing towards a child. You did a good job for me. What’s happened to this country when people will defend any act no matter how disgusting even towards a child as long as the jerk is on your team. I miss real men of great character like Staubach!

Yeah, it's a kid so why not?
But to teach the parents a lesson:
He should have signed the kids jersey instead and added the date and score to it .... :muttley:
Right! There’s many ways to play it. Have the kid take off the Giants jersey and put on the Cowboys one and THEN sign it is another way and a win win. But that would have required him not to be a jerk.

DON'T CARE if the kid had Devil horns , adults do not belittle kids , period. This is a right and wrong kinda deal...its simply shouldn't be done, EVER...under any scenario.Even if the parents put him up to it. DOES NOT MATTER. Hope the young man doesn't fill his heart with meanness after this. We are suppose to be good stewards. What he did was totally vile.
Amen.
