Taking over mid-game is usually tough, I’m sure Payton will have Teddy in a better spot after a week of practice. Brees has been so durable that we don’t know what the Saints without him looks like.

Exactly....Payton will have him ready. The D has to play waay better than what we've seen first two weeks.

Too bad they can't face the better teams at full strength. It would have given them a better idea where they stand come playoff time.

Teddy looked bad against LA but didn’t get much help from his WR/TE as they seemed checked out after Drew went down. Payton will have a plan probably mixing in Taysom Hill a bit

I watched the entire game. Teddy did not look bad as much as the Saints absolutely imploded with penalities when it was still close. Teddy made some pretty good throws.

Well we beat Brees and the Saints last year.
And we did so on the strength of an overwhelming defensive effort that forced a powerful New Orleans offense into punting the ball on three straight possessions and turning over the ball on downs--all in the first half alone. The defense is good still but has lost some of its luster ever since that dominating performance. Circumstances are favoring Dallas in this rematch but it looks like it will be a noticeably different type of victory for the Cowboys this go-round.

We could very well go 4-0 and be a couple of games clear in the division. The only games that look rough on our schedule are Rams and Patriots.

Remember DLaw missed the entire offseason as well as Jones. He’s not back to full form yet but eventually he will be. Gregory was pretty good last year and he’s gone. Crawford is not even close to 100% and Woods is out. We’ve got Quinn coming back so I think you’ll start seeing some improvement.
