That stinks for Drew, he's a great guy and a great QB. It should be good for us though! Go Cowboys! :flagwave:

I watched the entire game. Teddy did not look bad as much as the Saints absolutely imploded with penalities when it was still close. Teddy made some pretty good throws.

And he didn't get ONE snap of work, w/ the first team offense, the week leading up to the Ram's game. Teddy has game experience, has won on the road and Sean wanted him for a reason. Dude is a professional and will show much better w/ a week of working w/ the ones.

Remember DLaw missed the entire offseason as well as Jones. He’s not back to full form yet but eventually he will be. Gregory was pretty good last year and he’s gone. Crawford is not even close to 100% and Woods is out. We’ve got Quinn coming back so I think you’ll start seeing some improvement.
Even Quinn's return to the regular season lineup makes overall defensive improvement a wait-and-see situation. At this early stage of this season, the only known dependable variable (which is somewhat different from last November 29) is a re-energized and proficient offense Dallas should walk into the Superdome with in two weeks.

Hope Brees gets well soon. Bridgewater still has two of the best offensive players to throw to so it won’t be an easy game.

I mean I wouldn’t be mad if Brees missed our game

Good thing is Cowboys will get a chance to see Bridgewater at QB next week before facing the saints. May give Dallas a better look on how Saints will operate with Teddy behind center

Bridgewater being in changes the outlook. Still depends on this Defense to play better than they have in the last 2 weeks and not make Bridgewater look like Brady.

I don't wish injury on any player, but this sounds fortuitous doesn't it?

When Brees was on the sideline and went to pick up the football off the bench and it immediately fell out of his hand grip, I knew it was pretty serious
Did you see on the sideline when it initially happened... trainer had it going all different directions thumbs don't usually go in. From friends who are Saints fans it's a torn ucl, 10 to 12 weeks if surgery is required!

Yes it will take him a game or so to get back in the swing of things. Maybe the Miami game will give them all some confidence.

Yesterday was a bad day all around for the Eagles. Losing to Atlanta and Brees being injured basically removed all benefits of their 2nd place schedule. Then you add in all the players that went down. They better hope they all get back and stay healthy because they didn’t look that great without them.

Fortunate for Dallas that they avoid Brees but Teddy isn’t chopped liver, not like he is Fitzpatrick. Now, on a serious note.......maybe Brady gets the flu a few days before we arrive in New England

Bridgewater won't be the starting QB when we play them it will most likey be Taysom Hill.

May catch a break against New Orleans, game in two weeks.

truthfully I rather play them with Brees, makes beating them more significant, too many cupcake games doesnt get you battel tested..seriously this great start loses luster given the opponents we are facing..it wont get serious until NOvember/December..
