The Saints weren’t winning that game with Brees. They are terrible outdoors. And Kamara is about to get a dose of what it’s like to be the lead dog. He’s always been a complimentary back.

Bridgewater won't be the starting QB when we play them it will most likey be Taysom Hill.

Why is that? Hill is more a gadget guy. Small hands for a QB(8 3/4") and a low Wonderlic score(17). He is also 29 years old with 7 career pass attempts. They traded for and retained Bridgewater for a reason. Unless he gets injured, he will be the starter until Brees returns.

Brees out a minimum of 6 weeks per ESPN. I’m sure a lot of people are happy about this. Next worthy opponent is Green Bay. 4-0 easy peasy.

I'm happy we don't have to face him, not happy he's injured and missing significant time. He's awesome to watch when he's not playing Dallas.

If the Saints can win some games with Bridgewater that could actually work out for the Saints. I thought Brees wore down last year and started to show his age. Bringing him back fresh mid season could be a good thing providing they're still in contention.

If Teddey can win 3 or 4 games during his absence, they should still be in a good spot.

Too bad they can't face the better teams at full strength. It would have given them a better idea where they stand come playoff time.

Or, it does not show our playoff opponents at our best on film to prepare.

The NFCS is wide open and if either Hill or Bridgewater can keep them in the hunt until Brees returns then the Saints will fine.
