This ain't college where style points count, a win is a win. The Patriots don't care that their division has been terrible for twenty years, they just beat up on those 3 cupcake and find 4-6 wins elsewhere and go to the playoffs with home field advantage. I like that route.
I KNOW THIS BUT,

like I said I want to be battle tested and this is an early game and I wanted to beat them again twice in row with Brees at QB, it does feel better, shows the team can beat other teams besides the weak ones... it dotes help with confidence and getting ready for the big games..

I said IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Rather play them at full speed..II I I..IDC what you feel, I know sports.. I am a TX Longhorn fan and being 2-1 with that loss to LSU only shows we can beat easy teams and just getting close to beating OU last year or LSU this year isnt enough and we havent ARRIVED we are NOT back..

same here the only way to KNOW FOR SURE we have arrived and stepped up is to BEAT the best with the best..

Lol. Looking at sportrac he got total guaranteed of 37.5 at signing. I think that money is his. And his salary of 8.5 for 2020 is guaranteed for injury.
NEXT MAN UP LOL

doent work does it ,

while good Conner is NOT BELL

JUJU is NOT brown

and your Backup QB is NOT going to get it done..
when you lose big talent and their backups are close but in Conner sitation hes injury prone, JUJU looks dinged but havign harder time beign the PONE..

i doubt in rebuilding mode but reality check is in place..adjusting to those losses are tougher then it appeared..

That stinks for Drew, he's a great guy and a great QB. It should be good for us though! Go Cowboys! :flagwave:

Huge Brees fan! 100% class act, hof player, feel bad for him.
But not sad he won’t play against us.
A 4-0 start would be great

Being "battle tested" gets you a wild card road playoff game, ever since our last championship I changed my thoughts on this. During that season we were rolling along beating the breaks off everyone and were ready to avenge the NFCCG loss to 49ers, what happened, they came into Texas Stadium and took all the air out of the building and the rest of our season. We won HFA on the last day of the season when the Falcons upset the 49ers. We were on a collision course with the 49ers in the NFCCG but Brett Favre and the Packers upset them in Frisco. We matched up better with the Packers and went on to beat them and win the Super Bowl.

I don't care if it's easy or hard as long as we get HFA throughout the playoffs and go to the super bowl.

This.

The same fans who say, "I want to beat the best and toughest teams so we can be battle-tested" are also the same fans who cry, whine and rage when the Cowboys......lose to those teams.

Was there a single fan after Dallas' 30-22 playoff loss to the Rams, who said, "Well, we lost in the playoffs, but at least we got the satisfaction of going up against the Rams rushing attack and surrendering 273 rushing yards and therefore discovered firsthand that we weren't up to the task?" That's nuts.

When I first heard it was a torn ligament in his thumb I thought he would be out for the year. Any kind of torn ligament takes physical therapy after surgery @Doc50 ?

That sucks I was hoping he would play against us.
I am going to this game, and Im not upset Brees is out a bit. Nobody had sympathy for us when we had Cassel behind center. Wins are wins.... i want home field for playoffs.

Brees down 6 games. Roethlisberger out the season. The trifecta would be to body slam Brady into retirement.
ADD Foles down, Luck retired Brees and big ben out , Washington couldn't keep qb upright last year, carr was dinged, Wentz etc???

Cam feeling punch drunk, mariottas had issues right? does Mono count lol

I thought all the hubbub was dont pay RBs because they get hurt or have short careers.. might want to stop the bleeding of paying all these QBs big money and not as to their production vs position because they arent station upright and make 2-3times more then the Elite RB does..

Kamara and the running game is the strength of the team on offense, and Brees doesn't play defense, which is pretty good, so I'm not thinking the loss of Brees is a death knell for the Saints, either beating Dallas or other teams, though it will undoubtedly hurt them....
Very level-headed assessment on your part.

Not much PT is required, and he progressively does that starting 2 weeks post-op.

He probably tore the flexor pollicis longus or brevis; simply needs to be securely re-attached and fully healed.

BTW, Gallup's knee arthroscopy will be even more minor. If it were playoff time, he could be ready in 2 weeks.
