Has Zeke lost some of his speed?

Yeah I think he has. I always remember this play from his rookie season. Dude got tripped up at the LOS but still split the safeties and left them in the dust. This is probably a 20 yd gain today.

Exact play I always look back too...

Seems like he just can’t find that gear anymore

You are gonna need something to back up that claim.

Nah..

Barber, Felix, and Zeke all got huge after their rookie year.

Demarco is the only guy that bulking up helped.

That's not what you said... You said the organization was trying to "bulk them up." Most every man alive is going to fill out from age 22 to age 27.

Barber had five good years--seemed to seek rather than avoid contact-- then faded away. Felix had a few good years (he never "bulked up") and faded away. Guess what? Virtually all running backs are in decline or out of the league within 3-5 years. (Research proves this)

Lol damn y’all wild. Saquan gets caught from behind nobody cares. Zeke does he gets questioned. I don’t remember the last time he had a wide open lane to take it to the house. When’s the last time he had a hole like Saquan did be us when Chido caught him? I challenge someone to show me the play from last year

Yes it seems like he’s lost speed.

I don’t think it has anything to do with his weight, because I thought he lost speed when he was at his slimmest in 2017 when he got back from suspension.

Go look at the clip from his rookie year posted above and then compare it to last weeks runs. There is a noticeable difference.

He hasn’t hit the home run. Probably because the wr aren’t good enough blockers. Just my opinion
Exactly, Dez and Williams were very good downfield blockers, especially Dez. I don’t see how Zeke’s lost much speed from the age of 21-24. He hasn’t put that much weight on. Big difference is the line hasn’t been anywhere near as dominant after his rookie year. Giant holes up the middle have been few and far between. He’s not getting into the 2nd and 3rd layers of the defense untouched like he was back then

Zeke is an old school power back

He reminds me of stephen Davis in his prime.......and Davis in his prime was a load and you could hit him 2 yards in the backfield and hes power it for a one yard gain

Barkley creates his own lanes with his speed.
