If Moore is good, then he's the more valuable piece. If Moore sucks, the team sucks, so JG gets fired anyways. He's a lame duck who has really no path to staying in his position unless Moore simply chooses not to pursue HC options once they become available.

My issue with this whole thing is this, what will the cowboys do offensively if Moore is gone? Like what the hell is Garrett going to do playcalling wise?

Garrett does nothing. How do you get rid of something for nothing?

You dont keep Garrett because the cowboys win on the back of Moore while Garrett claps on the sidelines.

If Jerry really want to keep Garrett then put Garrett in the FO and promote Kellen to HC.

You get rid of Moore and we go back to a linehan offense with Garrett. Or you hire an OC that you pray is just as creative as Moore.

These young guys dont come around that often. I hope Jerry wouldnt be this stupid. The cowboys are finally in the modern world of playcalling.

I think they are an excellent compliment of offensive football minds.

It's no doubt way too early to have a real understanding on what the Cowboys have in K Moore, but it sure is fun to feel like this about the team so early in the season. It has been great to see the leap Dak has taken this year as a thrower and you can't help but love how he is operating within this offense.

We will have a clear idea of where this team is after the GB game and if Moore, Kitna and Dak can continue to light it up, the Cowboys are going to be in a really good place for years to come.

We shall see. Common sense is not always as common as one would think. There are some dumpster fire teams out there who may not be as risk averse as other teams. Not many GMs in the league have the ability to hire a HC without a room full of consent....except maybe the Cowboys.

Oh, and please, take your condescending tone on the road.

AGAIN, losing teams don't have a lot of talent AND often times the GM's are on the hot seat also. So they're not going to bring in a head coach with just TWO or THREE total years coaching experience at ANY level. AGAIN name a NFL team that EVER hired someone to be head coach with 2 or 3 years TOTAL coaching experience. It goes back to that common sense thing and history.
