Quinn will get a new deal unless he massively flops.

I think it depends if Dallas thinks the NFL is done suspending Gregory. Quinn would have to be back to his 19-sack form to get a new deal here otherwise. We never would have brought Quinn in if Gregory wasn't suspended because he played well last year and was coming on strong late in the season.

Both Taco and Trysten had work ethic issues in college. Marinelli made them sign his stupid work hard contract and believed he could motivate them to practice and play hard. Both had the same work ethic issues as pros.

Marinelli is regarded as a one of the better D-line coaches in recent NFL history. Just let him coach. Quit taking his word on player intangibles.

TJ Watt is a 3-4 OLB who would only have one spot in Dallas - LDE. We already have a guy for that position and we just gave him a 105 Million dollar contract.
No sacks through two games. And maybe we don’t sign his non-sack getting behind if we had TJand he was doing his thing for us???

Maybe after the Terrible T&T Twins they won’t listen to Rod and his inane verbiage.

Rod stood up for the guy. His guy let him down... out the door he goes. I like that in a coach. Taking responsibility for a mistake.
HE SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN THE DAMN PICK IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

Not mad at you just the situation.

It was. I don't bow down to no man. At the end of the day they put their pants on one leg at a time like everyone else. Respect is earned not given. I mean it's worked out I'm pretty successful and raising my family in a good area with a little nest egg. With no help from parents or family. I don't get paid hourly maybe that's why I can relate. I'm no sheep I don't follow people around because they have a title. They gotta show me they earned that title. Especially with the Boomer era, too many empty suits.

You definitely sound like all the millennials running around and all these idiot athletes. Respect, respect, respect. Whining about "the man" all the time just make a person sound like a self important moron.

What's your alternative? A free pass?

Seriously. You want to give me static for expecting accountability when all you want to do is give coaches a free pass?

Lame.
Fire every coach ever is your solution. Lol. Just stop.

Thanks for continuing with your ridiculous non-answers. It's a grea look for you. Maybe YOU should "just stop" and quite while you're behind.

How about the bull**** about Rod somehow "taking responsibility"? How is it taking responsibility when the player gets cut and absolutely nothing happens to the coach? Ridiculous.

It is your idea. Fire every coach that makes a mistake. Hold them accountable you say. That is all you.

Of course that is absolutely absurd, yet you continue to claim that is the way it should be. But your entire two day tantrum has been ridiculous so I am moving on.

Hope you get back to making reasonable posts based on logic. Again, I enjoy and have thanked many of your posts, but for some reason you have singled me out for my perfectly sensible posts.

Let's give it rest and agree every coach should not be fired over a mistake they rectified.

Except that's NEVER been said by me. You try and go anf sins it. You've made that statement up Fromm the start.

Compared to your talk of "Marinelli taking responsibility" and nothing happens. That's a great plan...

"Perfectly sensible". That's a good one. But drop the persecution syndrome. Nobody is picking on you. You want to make statements left and right trying to minimize this Taco Fiasco and I'm refuting your attempts. Deal with that or simply stop trying to make excuses. Simple.

I'll ask again for an answer that I know you don't have. Exactly what has been "rectified"? What "responsibility" has Marinelli taken? "Oops! My bad! See you at the office tomorrow!" That's your idea of "responsibility"?

Clearly you are not in a position of leadership that requires you to hire people. If you make a bad hire you rectify the situation by removing the bad hire. RM admitted his error and removed the poor employee. It is not complicated.

It's certainly more "complicated" than your attenoted oversimplification.

"If you make a bad hire" is that costing you your biggest draft asset of the year? No, no it isn't.

"If you make a bad hire", did it cost your company millions? No, no it didn't.

"If you make a bad hire", does it set 37-year old company records for shortest tenure? No, no it doesn't.

Oversimplification at its finest at work here. "Not complicated" indeed. Not remotely accurate either.

Funny thing about Tristen is his motor in actual games is nonstop, or so they say. Usually guys who appear lazy in practice are also lazy in games. Hopefully Tristan is just a matter of buying in.

Show me where I ever said that. But don't mention "taking responsibility" when the only person who has faced consequences is Taco Charlton. There's no "responsibility" without consequences. That's what I take issue with.
