I can't wait to play a top five, ten team. I'm tired of sitting back playing prevent defense I want to see what we really have. Offensively I think we finally have a squad that can pass block and play Smash Mouth. Sometimes I think the franchise says 2 themselves we can just flip a switch. And turn it on. Sometimes we did sometimes we didn't.

We always used to.
What turn on the switch. Number George Seaford 49ers coach he would script his first 15-20 plays. They were always heavy on the gas. It seems every time we try to turn the switch on we weren't as good right off the bat. We had a buildup that electricity LOL

so beating giants 35-17 was playing at their level? same with Washington?

playing at that level would have had the game a lot closer.

I agree, we have played prevent defense. I rather continue to have that problem all year and play prevent defense in the 4th quarter....trust me, I won't be bored :)

not a fan of the prevent either. I would rather stay aggressive up front, rush more than 4 but also keep guys in front of the coverage. Playing 7 in coverage and rushing 4 is pretty boring.

If true this week we'll be like a bunch of rabid puppies going after the last chicken bone.

The title of your post says cowboys always play according to the talent level of the opposition!?
I misunderstood. Because you used it in a different Foundation then what I meant but that's cool. You always take things so literal I think you do it on purpose. Yes they played according to their level. Otherwise it would been 60 to nothing. Come on stop with the for lack of a better word trolling. If you can't say something positive that adds to the subject don't even bother replying. Get away from me kid you bother me LOL

George Seifert may or may not have scripted plays, but if he did, he got the idea from Bill Walsh.
"The Genius" was known to have 15 scripted plays to start each game.

Thank you, I meant Bill Walsh. Don't get old my cowboy brother. I'd forgotten more things about this franchise than most people will ever know.. You were right thank you for reminding me I'm surprised other people didn't catch that
