From Super Bowl talk to top 3 pick in the draft

I've heard other fans talk the way we talk, but it doesn't stick out in my memory or rub me the wrong way because they're not Cowboy fans. Aka when someone speaks badly about the Dallas Cowboys we tend to remember that a little more, because it hits home.

One team wins the Super Bowl each year (until officiating forces the NFL to declare 2 winners one of these years) and three teams get top-three picks. That leaves a whole lot of other teams and Dallas is one of them.

WHY were we talking Super Bowl? Jerry LOVES fans that talk Super Bowl. That means he has you paying attention to HIM...and NOT what we've seen for 25 years. THIS....THIS...is why he is in the HOF. What is the TRUTH about what we have seen ON THE FIELD? Since Jimmy Johnson influence has left the building....we have 3 playoff wins. That is about ONE....ONE...playoff win every 8 years. I don't think fans truly understand how AWFUL that is. Nick Foles had 3 playoff wins in ONE playoff run 2 years ago.
If Jerry Jones had not hired Jimmy Johnson....his track record as a GM would be the WORST in the history of the NFL. In fact...since Jimmy and his influence left the NFL....his track is the WORST in NFL history! It has been so bad...that we (well...some of us)...are in a decades long state of hypnosis!

Jason Garrett has already peaked. What Jerry has successfully gotten many of us to believe....is that Garrett will do something that has NEVER been done in the history of the NFL...which is for a Head Coach with his track record after being at the helm for as long as he had...will magically win a Super Bowl. Head Coaches that have won a Super Bowl in the NFL have already had far more playoff success by year 8 than Garrett has. Playing against the best the NFL has to offer from head coaching, scheming, motivating, working the refs, handling the media, in game management etc.. is what the NFL playoffs offer. Jason can handle all of that for about ONE game. He has already shown that his tank will be empty after ONE game in the playoffs. To think he could win 3 or 4 games in the same postseason...which is what it takes to win a Super Bowl....is beyond laughable...which is why I have no idea why we would be talking Super Bowl. But I am not hear to crush anyone's dreams...I tune in for the entertainment...I already know we are not winning a Super Bowl with Garrett....I truly believe there are those within the organization that know this....but the scary (and lucrative for the Jones) part are the legion of fans that actually think Garrett can win a Super Bowl. For this....I salute Jerry!!!! He has earned his gold jacket!!!
