I'm just looking to take the current temperature of the forum and wanted to see where everyone's mindset is currently.

There are no right or wrong answers here and I hope everyone feels that they can answer honestly. Not toward other fans, but about this team.

What is your current feeling right now? Do you have faith that the Cowboys can turn things around and still compete for the division, playoffs, and maybe more?

Or has your faith been too seriously tested and you think this is the beginning of a huge slide and the end of the season?

I'll start. I don't have faith right now and I think the Eagles will lay a beating on this team come Sunday night. But having said that, I felt this same way last year and was totally wrong about that. That team surprised me and went on a run. Maybe they have it in them to do it once again?

Where do you stand at this point?

faith is the opposite of truth. truth is, I think we're in trouble.

I had them no better than 5th or 6th in the NFC to start the season and the 3-0 start did not change that. However, I didn't anticipate losing two OT's.

What has changed is that I thought the East might send tow teams to the playoffs and only see one going now making this game critical. I also don't think the Cowboys psyche can handle losing to the Eagles Sunday night.

Eh, I've been stuck in a whatever happens, happens.

Been that way since maybe Santana Moss torched Glenn and Roy.

And nothing has been done to really get me that attached again.
You know, maybe if they actually had real playoff success I would get sucked in again faith wise.

Do I have faith that we can compete for the playoffs and maybe even win a game if we get there? Yes.

Do I have faith that we have any hope of beating the best teams/coaches in the Divisional round and later? Absolutely not. Jason Garrett's teams will ALWAYS be outschemed when playing the best with the brightest minds scheming against him. Overcoming that disadvantage is very difficult against good teams.

In other words, I've seen this movie before. I don't know exactly how we get to the ending, but I know the ending very well.

Knowing the inevitable let-down of a Garrett run team and his complete inability to "rise above even the slightest adversity", I have ZERO faith....I'm praying that this season is the straw that breaks the camels back

Faith, Dallas has the most talent of any NFC east team. I drink the Cowboy Kool-Aid, lately I have to mix it with Jack,................. lots of Jack.

Go Dallas!!!

You know, I was on top of the world around week 3 or so, going into the game against the Dolphins.

Felt good about all of our moves up until THAT point and felt okay about the coaching at the time, but then got to thinking: "what has this team actively done in the past 20+ years to make me feel good about anything?" It was that realization that saved my mental health during this slide. Do I want to make the playoffs? Sure - the goal every year for me is to outperform WAS, PHI, and NYG, but running into the postseason just to get out coached and out manned by another team is just rinse and repeat for this franchise.

So - basically, I'm still a fan and optimistic, but apathetic.

If the key injuries were minimal, I would have more faith in them turning it around. I don’t see how they overcome the tackles and WR’s missing......coaches aren’t helping there to scheme around it.

Dallas can absolutely tear up Phillys secondary but not with the receivers left standing. I will be surprised if Dallas wins Sunday night.

Some fans, including myself, see more benefits in losing than winning this game and the rest of the season. I am no longer in panic mode because, simply like the Dallas players and coaches, I simply don't care anymore and I am in tank mode like this Dallas team likely is.

Funny thing is though-- I have a feeling Dallas will win. My intuition in these past 3 games was off, but I see a victory here. But, it will ultimately end in failure as the season only gets tougher and the injuries become more prominent.
