I have pretty much checked out of the NFL, Dallas is the only team I even bother to watch anymore.

I guess the million dollar question not asked was "under what conditions is Garrett getting extended" Did we make a run, win the division, and lose the NFC title game by a FG? Or do we limp through the rest of the schedule, post an 8-8 record and sit home for the playoffs?

If we miss the playoffs and Garrett still gets extended regardless.....well, it will prove to me that this franchise really doesn't care about winning.

I will still tune it to watch the games, but how much I actually care if the team wins or loses will be very minimal, no emotional attachment at all.

I've been a fan since 1974. Took the good times and the bad in stride. I now have a child that is going to be a father in march. Hard to wrap my head around being a grandfather but, wooohooo… He has never seen them win anything big and don't understand my passion. I'm just tired, simply been to the wood shed for almost 25 years. finally got my Star tattooed on my right arm this year on vacation. If Garrett gets extended I will probably find something else to spend my time on. That's coming from an old school die hard fan.
