Just keep winning, playing well, or even better.
I think the deal gets done before the tag date, then they use it on Cooper if need be.

I don't know why they keep talking franchise tag if a transition tag is available. If he's asking for top money the Cowboys have nothing to lose by transition tagging him. Franchise tag would be a waste.

he's betting on himself. hope it works out for everyone.
He is banking strong endorsement money and has likely already taken out a lucrative insurance policy on himself.. That's who he is. Smart. So there's no need to get desperate with his contract. Given what he likely already has in place, this risk is minimal. Smart calculated risk.

I guess we have to get Dak in the news some way, how about a tweet of no progress on his contract

They could get his deal done before needing a franchise tag. This is such BS from Crapoport

At some either Dak's agents or Stephen need to say the time for negotiations will be tabled until the offseason.

Exactly....no way in hell they allow Dak AND Coop to be w/o a deal before tag deadline. One gets done, no question......

It’s probably not the constant concern with the ongoing discussions the media makes it out to be. It benefits them to pretend there is an ongoing story.

We have 74 mill in free space in 2020. 6th most in the league.

What do limited mean?
The salary cap still applies .
Once all those new contract extensions are signed that will cut in significantly to the cap.
