The praise Dak is receiving for that game is ridiculous

And is the same problem that this fanbase has when it comes to detail and accuracy.

The Vikings are a team that is doing well this year and we lost to them. Dak had a net positive game.

That the Vikings are 7-3 does not mean that they have a good pass defense. They are middle of the pack in Pass defense with an average rating of 93.5. Conversely, they are 7th in the league in yards allowed the run.

This team hasn't defeated a single team with a pass defense rating under 91.7 (Eagles). That should stand out to us given that of our remaining opponents only the Eagles, Lions, and Commanders have a 91.7 defense QB rating or higher. The Rams, the Bears, the Bills, and the Patriots are going to be more interesting games for Dak.

Just like I wasn't buying the fool's gold that this team was good after beating... checks my notes: The Giants, Commanders, and Dolphins... I'm not buying the fool's gold on Dak, having success against a team that wasn't great against the pass and dared him to pass.

The worst thing about this 5-4 run is that people still aren't paying attention. It's been 9 games. We've only beaten one team with a winning record. And that team barely has a winning record. That should tell you something. We've had an unbelievably easy schedule this year and this team isn't 7-2 or 8-1, it's 5-4. That should tell you something.

I agree. If even one of the 2 balls that Dak threw right into the hands of a Vikings DB was caught the narrative would be that Dak needs to quit making so many mistakes. His 9 picks are 4th most in the league.

I think overall Dak played good. But to say he played great or amazing is stupid. He is the only one that touches the ball every single play on offense. And last night the offense scored 4 less than the other team.

People want to blame the head coach for the play calling... and not blame the play caller. The QB has the ultimate say on what play is run. On the pass to Zeke Cooper was wide open.

Hahahahaha this thread is absolutely idiotic

Dallas lost..thus, dak isn't good

OK..so since wins and losses are a qb stat..how about somebody show this guy what daks record is..also show him what daks record is vs winning teams and where that stands vs other qbs in this league

The premise of this thread isn't just stupid...it's ridiculously stupid

It was his best career game, IMO. He proved that he could hard carry the team with no support whatsoever from the running game, defense or special teams against a very good football team in a playoff atmosphere.

This is an odd post.

After 3 years Dak manages to compete in a shoot-out game and is now GOD.
When the score was 14-0 the Minn def dropped a sure pick 6 that would have made the score 21-0.
Dak passed well but once again the only thing this game confirmed that it's Zeke's offense and stop him and win the game.
5-4 and the playoffs now seem like a long shot at best and the Dak employees here are screaming his greatness.
Ya gonna be great to be home for the playoffs this January......

Alas, the perfect answer should, and always will be..Cooper Rush!! Hell, even Mike White at this point. Is he even on the team anymore? I know!! That PS guy we've got..what's his name, Christian something or another? Let's just throw Kitna back out there..

Is Dak perfect? Nah, most definitely not. Is he an elite franchise QB? Only time will tell. Even if he's not, to say that he doesn't deserve praise for a great game is foolish.

This team has several issues, QB play isn't one of them. Especially last night. How do you feel about the oline play? Linebackers? DBs? Team sport broham. The team can't pull a cohesive game together, you can't win Championships that way without an All World QB or Defense. I don't know what else you expect.

Hysteria often follows traumatizing events...

This season and that game last night must’ve messed you up very, very badly. I’d recommend getting prescribed medicine from onlineRX. I will hope for your recovery...

This game proved nothing about Dak nor Zeke’s connection. It proved that our defense sucks *** and our coaching is probably next to the worst in the league.

Agreed... and I thought Dak had a good game, he did his job. But the (predictable) praise is bizarre. Dak is not the linchpin of this team, the offensive line is. Dak usually does his job: stand in the pocket with all day to throw, and deliver throws to wide open receivers running slow developing routes (again, thanks to the line). Don’t turn the ball over. And hope the receivers can do enough Superman dives and sideline tiptoe dancing to overcome the frequent inaccuracy.
They scored 24 points last night. The NFL average is... 23. Listening to Dak slobberers, you would think this was another 51-48 spectacle that the offense was let down on. The offense was OK. That’s it.

I don't consider the Packers or Saints to be "unbelievably easy." We should have definitely beat the Jets. Those other opponents we lost to should not be considered easy (even with the Saints starting a backup quarterback), but those games are what separates the wannabes from the real deals. We are clearly a wannabe.

Give us a schedule full of the Commanders, Giants, Dolphins and even the Jets and we likely got 13-3 at worse. Give us a schedule of the Packers, Saints, Vikings and Eagles and we might go 5-11 at best.

Put Dak on the Pats and he wins the Super Bowl this year.
