People disagree because it doesn't make sense. Both can do similar damage if they connect with enough force to the head.

And people who make that argument would be wrong. Maybe given the time you forgot what the stomp looked like.

100% can't happen...but not nearly the same as what happened last night

I don't think some of y'all have been in fights before. That's not a bad thing but makes y'all's comments sound silly. You shouldn't get shot because you shoved someone but you can't expect someone to react the "correct" way to your shove. Maybe they do maybe they don't but the best way to avoid that is just not shove the person.
I dont know if you guys watched the vid but rudolph was trying to get Garrett off of him the entire time and Garrett remained tight to him. It wasnt like rudolph shoved him after everything was said and done.

They wouldn’t be wrong but neither one of us are changing their views. I guess we can just agree to disagree

You think the force that Hayensworth put into *that* stomp is capable of equaling the damage a swing like Garrett did could have caused if a different part of the helmet connected with his head?

Why do online discussion make people get so obtuse? I didn’t say or imply that at all good sir. Please go back and reread my post and not ask questions I didn’t say or imply.

Maybe the browns will make a statement and release him. If so Jerruh better pick him up!!!! We found our wardaddy
Those are the guys that the Browns like signing, so they will be giving him an extension. Look at hunt the beater RB the ex chief and see who he is currently playing for.

The comparison at hand is Hayensworth stomp vs Garrett's helmet swing, not some hypothetical stomp vs some hypothetical swing. If you side stepped my original response, then all you did was create a straw man, but go ahead and continue with the name calling ;)

Been watching football for 40 years and never seen anything like that in a game. He needs a psych evaluation.

I didn't side step anything. I said what I said if you don't want to talk about hypothetical cool but I didn't side step a damn thing. I know y'all just find out what strawman meant yesterday and want to run it in the ground but It doesn't apply here. Learn to use words correctly.

Spare me with the name calling pearl clutching you're doing also.

Rudolph didn't like being wrapped and forced to the ground on what seemed like eternity. They were already scuffling before Rudolph got up. It did look like Rudolph unintentionally kicked Garrett in the groin area as he was trying to get garrett off of him, you could tell Garrett was not letting go at this point.

Regardless you don't use a helmet as a weapon in this manner. Because of this I'd suspend him for the remainder of the year. No one else should be penalized.

You be the judge:

Pouncy shouldn't be penalized for punching and kicking Garrett repeatedly in the head after he was already on the ground?

Or Rudolph for instigating the entire thing by trying to rip Garrett's helmet off first and kicking him in the groin and then after it was done already running at him again?

You must have missed some Cowboys games then. Haynesworth literally stomped on Gurodes head back in the day causing 30 stitches

Full season suspension. No way they even try for criminal charges in something like this, though Garrett looked every bit the thug. And who cares what Rudolph said to him? Scrums, pushing, and mouthing go on every play in the NFL and the rest of the players are able to refrain from beating each other with blunt objects. Between Mayfield, Beckham, Hunt, and Garrett the Browns are getting even trashier and I didn't think that was possible for Cleveland. My long standing hatred of the Steelers had me pulling for the Browns last night, I'll never do that again.

I care if it was something racially motivated or something about his family.

I also care that Mason initiated everything by trying to rip Myles helmet off first and kicked him in the groin and then ran at him again when it was done already.

And then afterwards Myles admitted he was wrong but all Mason could say was he thought it was bush and that Myles is a coward?

He's a little punk ***** as far as I'm concerned.
