Bad calls happen every game. Stop crying about the officiating. You sound like Aints fans. The refs are the least of our problems. The koolaid drinking JJ fans are our biggest problem.

You just answered your own statement here. This is why fans are complaining. It is getting ridiculous. Let these teams play. Stop dictating outcomes on incredibly terrible flags. That is not why we grew to love the sport. Yes I know we only scored 9 points on FG. Yes I know our offense sputtered all game. Yes I know Dak may have gone down at the end and thrown and interception or had some other ill-fated ending. But the point is, we get robbed off those moments by silly flags. And it really intensifies the overall optics for the conspiracy theorists. I am not one, but sometimes, you do wonder.

Was absolutely right. Not one but two bogus tripping calls. You can’t make this stuff up.
BS
There were bad calls both ways.
In general though, it wasn't a terribly officiated game.

I have to see it again, but it looked like Tyron hooked the guy with his left arm, impeding progress. Is that legal?
The replay they showed was awful. It’s not abnormal for the lineman to hook the defender in some. I’m this case smith reached a little and the defender immediately threw his hands in the air and started moving sideways. He faked it.

In my mind I would like to have seen what would have happened. Is that too much to ask?

I think it was a bad call. It should have been 1st down with 60 yards to go. However based on the game I was watching, the result would have been the same.........no check that........ Garret would have gone for a FG to make it a 1 point game and better looking loss.

That hold and trip on Tyron lead to 10 points.

The Frederick trip pretty much ended the game.

So, refs shouldn't call call holding or tripping? Those 10 points were a direct result of a ST blunder and an INT.

I don’t normally complain about refs because there are bad calls both ways. But, TWO tripping calls? We may not see another one for a few years.

First tripping prevented a potential scoring drive. Fg or TD. If a FG happened there, all we need is a FG on the last drive. Seems likely to me

Well, every penalty is in theory something that could prevent a potential scoring drive. Patriots had plenty of those as well.

Did the refs block the punt that led to the only TD of the game?

No, but this is a thread about how the refs got involved with very questionable plays on VERY important drives when I thought the league was supposed to encourage them to “let them play” unless it was overwhelmingly obvious and game altering offensive penalties.

TF did not extend his leg to trip that defender at all it’s clear as day. He moved his foot and leg to intercept and block a defender who was keying on his quarterback. His action was not game altering...

Their penalty WAS!

Jerry should be making heads roll...

Now regarding ST... see me in another thread cause I got too much to say brother!

None bogus though. It matters

Tyron had 3 penalties today. He was terrible. Even on that last tripping call the proof is in the eye of the beholder. Even the announcers couldn't agree. As cowboys fans, of course WE think its bogus.

This is why fans of other teams laugh at us.

It's the refs fault!
The league intentionally screws us!

What a bunch of babies. This team screws itself. Worst special teams in the league, a defense that can't get a turnover to save its life, and a coaching staff that can't manage a game, all employed by a 77 year old man and his dopey son playing fantasy football at the highest level.

First, every fan base complains about the refs. Second....well, no second necessary.

Refs didn’t steal this game. Dallas couldn’t even get one ball to Cooper. You’re not winning with a zero in his stat line.

Well, since this is a Witten bashing thread, might as well mention that Cooper dropped the ball that would have extended the final drive.
