Probably let him say he is stepping down to do other things in life, instead of saying they wouldn't resign me lol.

IMO he’s going to the Giants. His people seem to have talked to the Giants. I’d be fuming if I was Jerry.

Garrett has had a different demeanor since week 6 or 7. I think when Jerry never came to Jason with an extension, Jason started exploring future options.

I think it's clear to everyone including Garrett that JG's gone after this season. But Jerry's not going to upend the coaching staff in the middle of a playoff push.

There is still a chance to win this division, maybe a major shakeup is what is needed.

Make Marinelli or Richard the interim head coach and see what happens. Noting to lose at this point.
As much as most people would support this move, has a head coach ever been fired during the season, when leading their division?

The opportunity was there to take a 2 game lead over Philly.

Post game, looked a combo of smug and resigned. Did not seem particularly bothered by today's outcome. More of a whatcanyado presser.

I think he knows the end has arrived. I'd ask for his resignation. Maybe a condition of an uncomfortable roster for the next six weeks brings out attention to detail this team needs.

To do list

Fire O'Quinn.
Ask for JG's resignation.

Do it now, and I bet it sparks the club.
We don't ever see the real Jason Garrett at those post-game pressers or at any of his pressers. He is a poker face guy in public.

Let's hope he does go there hehe.

I think I only saw half of the Jerry video, because I didn’t hear all the STs comments. He didn’t seem all that worked up to me. I think tomorrow will be interesting if he really is worked up.

I say let them crash and burn. Why try to save the season when you'd get embarrassed in the playoffs and get a worse draft pick too?

He won’t be fired

I wouldn't be so sure. I wouldn't have thought so either, but this one seems to really have hit Jerry hard. That seems crazy to me - that he talked himself into thinking the Jets' loss was related to injuries and the Vikings loss was just a "that's how the ball bounces", but this one is coaching.

World to Jerry: they've all been coaching. I could make a case for why the Cowboys could easily be 10-1 right now if they had even slightly better coaching.

But anyway, to the "he won't be fired" crowd, Jerry is upset. He's not going to be fired tomorrow, but if they lose to the Bills and fall to 6-6, there's a very good chance that it will be Garrett's last game.

He won't, but he should. We're still in contention and leading our division for the playoffs. Jerry has acknowledged that the coaching hasn't been good enough. Why not give someone else on the staff a shot to see if he can turn this into something more.

Jerry pretty much acknowledged that the talent is there. If you don't think the coaching is, then make a change to try to capitalize on that talent before a lot of it walks this offseason.

I’m pretty sure he knows he’s getting fired. Garrett is no idiot (surprising, I know). He’s hoping Jerry Jones will be kind enough to give him the waterboy or ballboy job. Maybe even athletic trainer.
Will be an NFL Head Coach somewhere else
