I have routinely been one of Jason Garrett's biggest defenders over the years, for various reasons. But he's lost my support. It is time to end the Garrett Era in Dallas. Jerry should be looking for a new Head Coach in January. ONLY an extension of the Cowboys' season into February would change my mind.

Hopefully he has to search on right now get a jump on hiring

In my honest opinion I don't think Garrett brings anything to the sideline, I would fire him after today and let Richard or someone else run the team really what else would we be missing with him? It would give you a little bit of inside look at Richard see if he can motivate this team and if he would even be in the running for the head coach. Now I know a lot of people here want him gone to with the entire staff but is it really him that's bad or is he handcuffed by Marinelli and the head coach?

It wouldn’t surprise me if they aren’t talking much. The FO pretty much let them know they are done after this season. If Richard gets a HC offer he will take it and I don’t think JJ will try hard to keep him. JG is gone. We will retain Moore and afraid JJ and Marinelli are close and we may keep him. But also wouldn’t be surprised if we fire him and bring in a new Defense staff. The ST coach is for sure gone. He will be cleaning house. And if we are somehow eliminated from the playoffs this will happen before the season is over. But the egirls are playing as bad as us so as long as we are still in contention nothing will change staff wise.

My guess he'll give head coaching candidates one mandate during the interview regarding the coaching staff. Either accept my OC and QB coach or convince me otherwise. As for the defense, ST and even some offensive coaches I think he'll leave that for the new to decide....who stays, who goes.

I can’t disagree and we saw what JJ did with JG. Gave him on the job training and hired him way to early. I don’t want a repeat but ya know it could happen. I wonder in a few games if JG hasn’t held Moore back with having him be a little conservative with the play calling. Seemed like it started once we played the saints. Teams with winning records the conservative approach keeps you from making as many mistakes but keeps you from winning sometimes.
