Im going old school , I know not a suprise there 1976 watched Detroit and the Bills slug it out in a game where only 12 passes were compleated total but OJ Simpson ran for 273 yrds and Dexter Bussy run for 137

True old schools smash mouth football the way it was ment to be played

Then watched my Cowboys beat the Cardinals 19 to 14 Roger ran for 54 yrd in that game with and 18 yrd run and had more rush yrds than any of our RBs .

What do you guy have ?

The best was the first.

1966.

First year we broke thru.

As I recall the game..it was against the Cleveland Browns.

They had been the winners of the division for years.

Danny Reeves was our rookie HB and Bob Hayes was also a rookie.

I was about 10 years old in the Cotton Bowl with my mom and dad and older brother.

Complete strangers were jumping up and down, shaking hands and hugging.

Very vivid memory.

How in the heck am I supposed to remember. It's been 50 years.
The early 90s I remember Emmitt opening the game with a nice 15 to 20yd run right up the middle. Great game. But having Madden and Summerall.
Made them classics

Someone posted the half hour highlight show of that 1966 game last night on FB. I watched it for the first time.

Dallas had field goals of 11, 12, and 13 yards. Lou Groza missed all three of his attempts for Cleveland. Times have changed.

I enjoyed this one (1991) because I was watching with a bunch of Steelers fans. Cowboys won, 20-10.

1974.

Cowboys came back to beat the Commanders 24-23 on Thanksgiving.

Longhorns didn't play on Thanksgiving but, the week just prior to, Horns beat TCU 81-16 and the game after they beat aTm 32-3.

I'm 47, and enjoyed some of the early '80s wins over Bears, Browns, Cardinals, etc. But most impactful, exciting and memorable was 1990 win over Commanders 27-17. Emmitt's huge touchdown run when we duked out Darrell Green. To me this was the beginning that Jimmy's group was starting to turn the corner into something very special.
