Dallas is ranked TWO and ONE in run blocking and pass blocking respectively by Football Outsiders.

https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol/2019

Claiming Dak is playing with a bad hand is homerism at its finest.

And these numbers are ridiculous for the OL, especially considering how DEEP and slow developing our passing routes are and the amount of times we now throw..
Whenever Zeke or Dak have bad games, the clueless homers just blame it on the O-line. These dudes are clueless. Is the line far and away the best line in the league like it was at one point? No. But it's still at the very very worst a top 10 offensive line. If you need the O-line to be legendary to be successful, then maybe the QB and RB arent that good.

They'll quote Zeke yardage, Dak yardage, Jaylon Smith number of tackles because they have very poor understanding of the game.

NFL come has Dak hit 67 times. Thats not even close to the bottom of the league, he’s actually top 10 for LEAST amount of hits, and when you factor in how much Dallas throws and the deep developing routes Dallas plays with, its utterly laughable to claim Dak is under pressure and the OL blows.

Dak is number ONE in passing attempts this year among all QBs and he’s sacked the least and rarely gets hit relative to the rest of the QBs.

Is he top 5? Because that's what he needs to be.

No he is not.

I’m a Russell Wilson lover. I take him over any QB in the league.

1. Russ
2. Mahomes
3. Rodgers
4. Brees
5. Lamarr
6. Brady (though I think age is catching up to him quickly but I give him benefit based on history.

The list starts to get fuzzy after that.

NFL network showed PFF stats about an hour before the game that showed we were the 4th ranked O-Line in the NFL. i can't remeber if it was 3rd in run blocking and 8th in pass blocking or vice versa but overall we were 4th. Line is not now and hasn't been for the at least 6 years the problem

I like Russel Wilson too, his 1st couple of season i was one of those who thought he was a bus driver but by his 3rd season and when he started losing players on offense and defense he showed me how much he really carries that team. I don't know if i would take him over Mahomes or a couple of other guys but he is in the top 5 and for me could easily be a top 3. Guys a stud at QB

Yeah of course there’s always some opinion.

I am also a bit biased toward him from being a Big Ten football guy all my life and the fact that I liked him when he was at Wisconsin.

Plus I am mad jealous of him for the wife he has. So I gotta give him
Props for that too.

I’m always at a total loss when people blame the OL. It’s like there’s an expectation that good pass protection means allowing the QB the ability to hold the ball forever totally unmolested until a receiver comes wide open. This isn’t the Big XII. That’s not how it works in the NFL. The OL is aging and the all pros are declining but it’s still a top 10 OL. Tom Brady would crawl on his hands & knees from Foxboro to Frisco to have this OL.

There is no O-Line in football past or present that is good enough to block for a QB who constantly spins right into the rush. Dak has improved in certain areas but one area he hasn't is his ability to step up in the pocket all great QB's do this and after 4 years if he's not doing it now he never will so unless there is no rush at all and things are perfect back there he will always have some trouble with any kind of pass rush

Franchise Tag is the only answer for Dak and see if a new offensive HC/coordinator can utilize his strengths. I said this three years ago.....Dak and Garretts system cannot coexist.

I think a team can win with him but a top-notch defense will be a necessity. He is not as bad as some say but he isn’t top 10 either.

Dak Prescott per PFF is averaging 2.88 seconds to throw which is top 5 in the league. Even Lamar Jackson takes less time to throw and he’s doing a lot of his throwing on the run.

He bypasses the check down and it makes me insane. Need a new coach that tells him it’s okay to take the easy throw. I’m convinced Moore and Kitna are all about getting Dak paid.

Who even knows whether he’s checking out of run plays also. We suck in the red zone and completely ignore Zeke running.
