Look at the ball placement on those throws. Particularly the 1st and 3rd ones.

Perfect. Both the fade and the go route for tD #3, were absolutely perfectly timed and perfectly placed balls.

Yeah. Good thing we went with the "hot hand" in 2016.....

Dak doesnt know how to make the first pass nor has the ability to throw that pass.

True.

People TRASHED Dez in this board for his tweets when he was used as Garrett’s scapegoat.

dez play did decline when Romo left..but that doesn't mean they didn't use him as a scapegoat.. some people refused to see it. almost every tweet was his anger because he's a cowboy fan like many of us..watching the coaching as a player. but a lot stick with the he was toxic..it was his fault BS.

side note..he must have real regret for not just signing with ravens.. I think he could've turned it around..but now 2 years later .....idk.

No these players are millionaires
The fans lost 10 years at a chance for a super bowl

What's really ironic is that JG really sealed his own fate by deciding to go with a rookie QB in 2016 when the team he built for his ALL Pro QB was healthy enough to play, that decision cost him his best chance at a SB win and his best chance at coaching the Cowboys for years to come. That's what i call a decision coming back to bite you in the ***

I didnt always like the sideline drama....but being a Cowboy mattered to him.
still does.
He was the OD “original diva” and now he acts like a scorned ex girlfriend. If he put as much time into his route running as he does his mouth running than maybe he wouldn’t have been let go.

If the players lacked the guts to speak up, they get no pity from me. Only TO spoke up. Dez threw tantrums. The rest always praised Garrett. Butt kissers.

Short term memories.. Dez was top 5 receiver when he and Romo were lighting it up.. especially those fades in the end zone..

I mean the officials do the right thing and Dez goes down in history with one of the greatest plays in Cowboy history.. the dude was robbed.

JG has had soooooooooo much talent at his disposal and achieve less than nothing.

Romo would have never made it and Dak was hardly the reason JG didn’t go to a Super Bowl. He had a 103.2 QBR against GB in the playoffs with 3 TD’s and 1 INT.

As a rookie, Prescott started all 16 games with 3,667 passing yards, 282 rushing yards, 29 total touchdowns, and only four interceptions, and his 67.8% completion percentage ranked No. 4 among NFL quarterbacks in 2016. With the Cowboys finishing the season with a 13–3 record, the team clinched the NFC East title.

Bwahahahahaha...and Dez is still bitter. Dude had passion but was never 100% dedicated, funny how quick people forget certain things once a player is gone. It’s almost as if the SEVERAL “Trade Dez” and “Cut Dez” threads never existed. He suddenly becomes a martyr because he talks trash about JG.

Ya know what Dez? I remember you laughing after dropping passes, I remember the majority of people here bashing you for never working on your route running and only relying on your physical talent, I remember how hardly any other teams came calling for you when you were cut and how you turned down the only contract you were offered at the time (Ravens IIRC). I remember how happy the fans were to see you gone and talked about what an improvement Cooper was over you.

Now you want to run your mouth? Speaking of Cooper, his career spans more than just being coached by Garrett. I don’t recall Garrett being the coach when he led the league in dropped passes. I don’t recall Garrett being his coach when he admitted himself he questioned his desire to play the game. I do recall Cooper playing better at home than on the road for some odd reason. I do recall Cooper being covered like an ant in a blizzard. I do recall Cooper dropping more passes as the season went on and none of that has to do with Garrett.

Keep running your mouth Dez. You’re a legend in your own mind and you only talk on social media to try and stay relevant because you’re nothing more than a has been. See ya Desmond, now go slap ya mamma good night for me.

BTW, I could go on about half of the other players on that list but don’t have energy. Every team and every coach has great players but only one a year wins the Super Bowl.

TLDR but I figure you're like the rest of us, GET RID OF GARRETT.

If the officials did the the right thing the Cowboys would have never even been in that game.

It is indeed time for Garrett to go but I think a lot of people will be in for a rude surprise when they see all this alleged untapped “talent” isn’t all because of JG but hey, if it makes them feel good now, go for it. The let down will be that much harder though.

When you are tying to win in the NFL you play your best players when they are healthy. Dak had a great rookie season but anybody thinking he was a better QB than Romo in 2016 is drinking the coolaid. Romo may have only lasted 1 or 2 games if they gave him his job back or maybe he would have finished the season, nobody knows, but the point is he was the better player and they didn't play him

I can see that being an excuse for a coach who's coaches 5 years or less but 10 years. If you ain't have the talent by now then you'll never have it.

It's pretty obvious that Dez Bryant is a Cowboys fan. We have Mike Irving that's the sunshine, and now we got Dez who's the realist. Dude has a platform to voice his displeasure in the situation just like everybody here to be honest, if not more so since he actually played on the team. .

He really told no lies.

it's funny how the media really portrayed dez a huge problem and half the cowboys fans ran with it.. but when witten throws tantrums..he just wants to win and they try to keep it off camera...or spin it to leadership.

I'm a fan of the cowboys and alot of these players. But it is what it is.

and to dez haters that might say he shouldve practice running routes or he sucks or whatever... Witten is a hof TE..BUT guess what Witten sucks this year.. Hurt this team this year. so hate him too.

Actually I do believe (and believed vocally at the time) that Romo would have given us a really good shot. The team was primed for a tilt..

So sick of ppl not recognising what a good QB Romo was.. the dude could play.. never had the defence to challenge and was forced into crazy drive situations so often in shoot outs.. When we finally gave him a defence that (whilst still not good) was at least bending and not breaking a little more often.. we never even gave him the chance to come back.

That preseason hit may well have cost this franchise 2-3 years of real success.

He was hurt and Dak came in on fire. You don’t pull a guy who is lightning it up for a guy who was hurt in the pre season and only played 4 games the season due to injury and through a whopping 5 TD’s and 7 INT’s. In other words, don’t fix what ain’t broke. Dak wasn’t broke, Romo was.

Zeke really was the key in all of the success that year. 2016 Dak was not allowed to change plays or really run the offense whatsoever, so Romo would have opened the offense up even more. It was best for our longterm objective to close the door on Romo for good. But the short term objective of maximizing 2016, was not fulfilled in my opinion.
