I gotta agree with @WillieBeamen to some degree... the guy wants to get paid in a contract year so sitting out hurt wouldnt have helped his case.

On the flipside, any guy with that many injuries in one year, you really wanna pay him huge money? Thats too much of a risk for me.
The problem is. Playing thru injuries causes new injuries. This all started with his foot.

Your absolutely right. It definitely causes issues in other places, especially when your trying to compensate for it. I've had foot/ankle problems and it's no joke.

I just worry that those other issues beat up his body badly. If hes here I would just hate to pay the guy and him immediately be missing games or take a step back.
