....and I was one those saying, let him go. He's going to regret it. He going to wish he stayed in Dallas.

Life can really make us look stupid sometimes.. :omg:
Contender for what? Great they made the playoffs in the weak AFC and beat no team of significance. Congrats Cole on being a 'contender'

For now he’s no more a contender than he was through much of his Cowboy career.

The Cowboys didn't have a problem with WR talent this year.

Amazing how many fans selectively forget that stuff.
A friend of mine for the last 4 years now acts as if Romo was Brady like here. When before he was frustrated with him.

And Dak has the same team issues as Tony had. Offense but no defense.
Exactly. Romo was one of the most polarizing figures on the team. Now everyone all of a sudden loves him. How everyone is split on Dak is how it was when Romo was here.

Well, i never watched him because he never played for the Cowboys.
Stupid comments like that show who you are

BTW, are we talking about the guy who quit in his first NFL team?

He is a limited smurf WR, and wanted too much money so we let him walk

get over it

Yup, quit ignoring the facts. The dude is having a most productive season on a team that is utilizing him correctly. And by the way, he is catching the balls thrown to him, unlike dropping them in critical moments like like Cooper, Witten, and Gallup. Glad we don’t have a receiver like him who is hard to cover and catches the passes thrown to him. I’ll get over it when you get real and consider the facts of his performance on the field.

Pretty funny how some in here are downplaying the fact the freakin Bills locked a playoff spot and throwing shade yet the Cowboys are going to limp in or miss the post season entirely. This thread exudes saltiness.

Seems you are ignoring the facts. He has a lower catch % than Cooper and Witten, has and isn’t any more productive than he was as a Cowboy despite the fact he has the most targets of his career.

So what are they contending for this year that Cole wasnt apart of last year? Other than being in the AFC and not the NFC?

The Bills are in the playoffs and are competing for the Super Bowl. The Cowboys are likely to miss the playoffs and won't be competing for the championship. We'll see if the Bills are just an
other 1 year wonder team. Beasley is a decent player, nothing special.

OTOH I think there's a decent chance the Bills coach could be very good, their problem is the QB limitations.

It’s not as if the Cowboys didn’t make the playoffs while Beasley was here. He just ended up in a fortunate situation this season. There really is no deeper meaning to it than that.

Seems like you have the bad memory. Romo had way worse defenses than Prescott has. And for the majority of his career had worse offensive lines.

Romo made players around him better. Dak does not. Look what Romo did for Crayton, Laurent Robinson, and Miles Austin.

Forced out? Romo's body is what forced him out, dude was a walking injury...he got season ending injuries every other game he played his final couple of years. I love how Romo gets romanticized all the time on here but except a couple years he was very average and his teams couldn't get it done no matter what was on the line. Win and in? He'd throw a pick on the last drive of the game down by 4.

It's crazy to me that we find a 4th round QB who's above average and all people want to do is get rid of him.

Romo was playing at peak performance at the end of his career. He returned to the team healthy and was not given his job back because the front office was mesmerized by Dak's ability to beat really bad teams.

my memory is fine.
And maybe those players had some talent as well, it was not ALL Romo.

So he is in the playoffs like he was last season with the Cowboys

The end of his career was the 2016 season. He last played at his peak in 2014.

Bigger contract
Playoff bonuses.
Away from this mess of an organization .
and SNOW !!!! have fun building snowmen! snowball fights etc.
But I was hoping he would have a good year, and bottom line is last year he looked miserable here, and he seems to be happy in Buffalo.
Away from the circus drama , and the mess that is dallas would have to be like a load lifted off you.

Beasley was a pompous egotistical jerk with terrible attitude, but a lot of his criticisms of the Cowboys were right on point.
He got ugly. Glad he's gone. Buffalo's not going anywhere either and Dallas will be back on top before Beas & his Bills can say BOO.
