I've learned to just deal with this.

I look at the players on the field and I think the GM has done his job there.

The problem is with the guy he has coaching that talent and his failure value what great game day coaching.

You've learned to rationalize it because it's Jerry. No actual GM would have his job for 24 years, go through half a dozen coaches, and win nothing.

Jerry the GM hasn't done his job no matter how anyone wants to spin it.

For what they allow him to do he’s been pretty solid. What I’ve noticed since he was hired is they’ve gone for the Big program players. They’ve stayed away from the diamonds in the rough. Although they did go for Gregory and Jaylon which was all Jerry IMO. They can’t let the wildcatter not get at least some say....

Except then, there will be NO QUALITY HC candidates available on the market and instead of being the guy with the the prettiest job and the biggest paycheck who can take ANYBODY now, you have to get a scrub coach because you have to do self reflection and didn’t think the HC hiring actions of other teams were worth your concern!?

Yep, why be concerned? He's got billions and a new 250 million dollar yacht with nothing but paradise on the horizon. He knows there will always be an up and comer thrilled for the chance to coach his team.

If it wasn't for his being stubborn about the way he handles his football team then sure. I wouldn't mind hanging out with him. Jerry seems like a great guy. I never said otherwise. But we're never going to get that chance. All we care about is the state of the Cowboys and he's ruined that enjoyment for me.

But his fatal flaw has been his delusions and misplaced affections for his current and former players.
He gets played by them and they make out like bandits while producing nothing.

No he's not. Delusional fans that think this make matters worse.
