It’s being reported that Jerry told Garrett he could return it would just stop clapping and spitting on his field

I seriously dont know how you call a presser and announce that Garrett is getting signed to a new multi year extension after the season we just had. How do you do that? What did we lose, like 6 of our last 8 games.

I honestly dont have any idea how Jerry would even attempt to sell Garrett to the fan base.

I believe they cancelled the presser

This has to mean either a front office job was offered or they are contemplating bringing him back but flushing the rest of the staff so they can claim they made changes to try to appease the fan base because they know Garrett coming back will go over with the fan base like a smelly fart in a crowded elevator.
It won't appease me.

I think of people would legitimately tune out next year. I think they know that, and thats why he won't be back.

This second meeting is perplexing. I dont know why its happening. But I still dont think he is coming back

Good point...…….I think they know they cant sell Garrett as head coach, the fan backlash would be massive.

Its got to be a front office position they are talking about, its really the only thing that makes sense on why you need a second meeting.

And yet, that doesn't make any sense either.... what kind of position do you give the former head coach that wouldn't create more of a circus atmosphere for the new HC???

Head scratcher deluxe.

Maybe his sell job was that he never got the chances to buy the groceries. He was making dinner with other people’s groceries.

I got no idea.

You are right, it would create a circus atmosphere to have the previous head coach in the front office making decisions for the new head coach???

That is seriously the stupidest idea I have ever heard of if that is indeed what they are planning...…...what a complete disaster.:(
