It’s soooo funny how most of us have known this for years now. Where the hell have all these people been? I realize we are just fans, but we’ve debated for years about this stooge and how bad he was. Now everyone is on board?

He’s talking about operational and support staff more than position coaches. And that’s probably a pretty fair assessment. At least, it seems reasonable that that group could be tired of the same voice in the locker room.

They probably felt more empowered to speak candidly bc he wasn't under contract next season. This is one of the problems with having a lame duck head coach.

Very true, I’m shocked we haven’t heard about any player conflicts with Garrett as well.

Even though they are employees of the Cowboys, the folks from the Break have been going HARD at Garrett (and, to a lesser extent Jerry) for the years of mediocrity. Especially Eatman and Derrick.....a caller called in today and they had to correct him about Garrett. They said he wasn’t lazy as the caller indicated, but that he was overtly arrogant and stubborn. That’s when Helman chimes in and said he seems stuck in the ‘90’s.........

You guys need to back off Garrett!

He may not be the best in the win/loss column, but his players love having him as their coach! It's not about whether or not they win. They're winners because they have fun.

And isn't that what it's about?

Yet another reason a HC should be able to hire his own staff. We all know how Garrett was hired as OC before Wade got hired as HC. And then heard rumors how Garrett sabotaged Wade down the stretch. Things like this are more prone to happen when you have no real loyalty to the HC since he didn't hire you.

It would be ironic if true, what comes around goes around.

Garrett has no control of anything and it's Jerry's fault. He can't pick any of his assistants. Jerry hires who he wants when he wants. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors. Jerry could have told Garrett he doesn't want him to have anything to do with the play calling or the defense. We don't know. When Garrett throws shade at Moore, it could be his way defending himself because he really has no input and can't blame Jerry. I honestly don't think they include Garrett in coaching decisions. Didn't Garrett say they were not letting linehan go and a couple days later he gets fired? Garrett said one week they would be working out kickers and the very next day Stephen says they won't be bringing anybody in for a workout.

Garrett has made an enormous amount of mistakes. But ultimately the blame should go to Jerry, not Garrett. Jerry is the one who hired him and even admitted he was not ready to be a head coach but didn't want someone else to get him.

Jerry hired monte kiffin after he had a historically bad year as dcoordinator of USC. He listens to rod marinelli during the draft and picks players with red flags and work ethic concerns.

No top level coach will come to Dallas unless Jerry removes himself from these types of things. But we all know that is not going to happen. Belicheck could be the coach and Jerry would still find a way to jack things up.

Not surprising. I’m actually surprised Garrett hung on this long with the staff. Most coaches have a three to five year window to win at a high level. If they don’t, everyone tends to tune them out, players included. His clapping must be some form of hypnosis.
