I'm actually seriously trying to comprehend why y'all want Jason gone so badly. I want him not to be the HC extremely bad, but if Jerry wants to stick him in the front office somewhere, I couldn't care less.
OK, that makes sense. My theory: Some of us have probably worked for an organization where the former supervisor was still somehow connected to the organization... and their mere presence got in the way either because of inappropriate intrusion or because of divided loyalties among staff, or both.
It would be a circus to keep the former HC officed in The Star in any capacity.
I think they've offered him a front office job and have given him time to decide whether he wants to accept it or continue being a head coach elsewhere.
This is being incredibly mishandled.
IMO, Garrett was offered some type of job with the team and they are giving him the night to think about whether or not he wants to stay with the team in some capacity or go potentially coach somewhere else.
I personally do not think he will be a hot commodity like the Jones’s and Dilfer say he will.
Is there any doubt Jerry is offering him this job?
It's perfect.....Garrett can still hang around the team....yet he can still keep his anonymity....and fetch Jerry drinks.
To take place tomorrow.
Why do you need a second meeting? Jerry can’t be contemplating bringing him back under a bunch of new conditions can he?

Any chance this is to coordinate a Campo type press conference on the way out?
The sooner Garrett is informed he'll be let go, the better it will be for Garrett. Why prolong his agony? This has been a fantastic day
Clapping/butt slapping/high-fiving/bus driving gig.they will discuss a clapping side business
Is that a fact? they took doug when joe was still available? what round was it??If he retains Garrett, it will literally be the dumbest decision made in franchise history—like, Doug Cosbie over Joe Montana level dumb.
