Something’s going on. It does’t take 3 meetings to fire someone. Either Jason is pitching his plan, and the Joneses aren’t yet convinced but are willing to continue listen; they’re talking about extending him; or they’re trying to create a role for him to remain with the organization outside of head coach.

But at this point, I feel pretty certain the final headline will read anything but, “Garrett’s time in Dallas done.”

I think Jerry wants Garrett in the FO so he doesn’t look like a total tool wasting 10 years whereas moron Garrett thinks someone will hire him as HC and wants to leave

If it a yet THIRD meeting with the hot seat HC then that just indicates the Jones are listening to a sales pitch Garrett is giving them and hes given the Jones a different coaching scenario where he can replace or maintain coaches to finally make it work ...and since they really do like Garrett, they can be had with whatever he's pitching to them.

yeh, get ready .... there's gonna be an new announcement that Cowboys are retaining Garrett as current HC but getting rid of the current defensive staff and special teams coach, while retaining Kellen, Columbo, Kitna and Brown as key assistants, dunno about Mussehemier and Sandray Lai as returnees.
Witten could coast into being the new TE coach while the club seeks out a new WR coach amidst the bizarre Cooper/Cobb fiasco on 4th and 8 vs Eagles.

yeh i'm reaching but no team considers a 3rd damn meeting with an underachieving 10 year HC that is obvious that this team doesnt respond well to anymore. Its ridiculous to sit out on interviewing HC candidates until the 14th of the january month.

i'm already preparing for a press conference that says team is keeping Garrett and revamping the defensive'SP coaching staff.
