Dez back in Dallas with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, a much improved Dak, and Lincoln Riley?

I don't harbor any ill will toward Jason Garrett. He's a good guy, and I hope his next venture goes well. It was just time to move on from him.

Exactly. I don’t understand why so many feel the need to feel animosity toward Garrett. The decision to change coaches is only about upgrading the talent at head coach, not about animosity. Besides, it was Jerry that took so long to make a change.

oh yah, watch it dez. Cuz the all powerful idiot Garrett has power around the league. :lmao2::lmao::lmao2::laugh:
It’s not about the “power” he has. Some organizations don’t want to be around controversy or mess. Not everyone is the Cowboys or Browns. A guy who tends to dog out players or coaches on Twitter is a turn off for some teams.

That’s how it is here. No one blames the billionaire we always blame the people he chooses to hire. It’s really wierd lol.

It’s pathetic. Dez Bryant is a loser.

Dez has been away from football for a few years now. He could have done all the bashing he wanted to. Why does he wait till someone’s down to kick them?

He's been bashing Garrett for years. Where have you been?

he just started when he was cut. before that he was praising him.

Yes, but Dez was a good little soldier. Once he got cut, he felt free to say what he really felt. My point was that he didn't just open his mouth after Garrett got released. He's been at it for years now.

I understand Dez's angst after how he was cut. I have to say though Dez was a guy that needed a lot of help to not be a disaster off the field and sometimes on it when he first got here, I am pretty sure Garrett helped him grow up a little and helped him get that huge payday which set him up for life.

I feel like its kind of beneath a guy like Dez to celebrate a guy's firing because A, the guy helped him and B it is the exact kind of thing Dez would go nuts over if someone said like this about him.

I thought he was grown up a little more than this.

Me first players aren't gonna like Garrett. Team players respond well to him.

Unfortunately that mentality doesn't equal wins in the NFL...unless you have a special culture like NE.

Garrett tried it in Dallas...but Jones likes the star player too much and wants to upset no one. That mix just didn't work out and wouldn't let then replicate the NE culture.

Dez has always been more mentally child than man. I don't really believe that it's his fault. I believe his mom was on drugs when she had him. He's never been overly smart or mature. His passion also gets in the way of his decision-making process. But expecting more from him is just not in the cards. He's never going to be anything than what he is now.

Exactly. I honestly believe Garrett gave it his best shot. His shortcomings were not due to lack of effort. It's just that this NFL head coaching gig is hard. It's not something that just anyone can do. I'm not under any illusions that I could do a better job than Garrett. Now it's time for Jones to find one of the select few who can do this job well and hire him. And let him do his job.

No he wasn't. Dez was a diva, a problem they dealt with behind close doors.

I disagree, I think in that 2014 season he really grew up. I saw a changed guy and believe he will learn to harness his passion as he gets older.
