It's official, things are as bad as many of us feared.

I guess next comes a seriously John Fox mention, right? Followed by talk of Dan Campbell with no experience? And then the inevitable Jason Witten hire, because he's just such a "great example of being a Dallas Cowboy."

This thing gets worse all the time.

That is such a Jerry move.
Never hire a guy who had previous success but recent failure.
See Marinelli...Fisher is same. Was great in Tenn, horrrid in StL.
His time is way past.

Does this mean that getting rid of Jason was just a last minute turn of events & they really have no clue who they want to hire?

Dark horse candidate? Jer-Jer is likely to go back to his roots in Arkansas and grab Kevin Kelley! The guy is 77-17!
He doesn't punt. He's all about analytics! The flip side is he coaches at Pulaski Academy....a high school.
But he's from Arkansas so he's got that going for him!

Dark horses who might be listening or interviewed.......

Gus Bradley, Chargers defensive coordinator, is likely on the list. (He wasn't very good as Jacksonville's head coach.)
Gregg Williams, the Jets defensive coordinator, another dark horse. He was the interim last year in Cleveland, (going 5-3).
Already mentioned Todd Haley, and the Jims....Harbaugh, Swchartz, and Caldwell.
And Bill Cowher, (who popped up in an article tonight).
Marquand Manuel, he's only 40, no head coaching experience but he was the defensive coordinator for the Falcons the year they went to the Super Bowl and has a Super Bowl Ring with Seattle. He was fired by Dan Quinn December, 2018 after the team slipped to 7-9.

Any or all of them could be INTERVIEWED or CONTACTED, doesn't mean they will be hired. (I shouldn't have to say that, but some people take it you post a name and you're automatically saying that person is the next Head Coach.)
