Joe Judge? Who? Pats WR coach? Was that unit anything to write home about?

Garrett: Yeah well I'm proud to be on the phone with ya. I'm proud to be on the phone with ya.

Gettleman: ~hangs up~ I can't do this. Let's make the deal with Joe.

That's no joke my friend. TMZ, has the tape. After the Giants hung up on him, he received a call from a group of soccer mom's, in the Dallas area.

A wide receiver coach getting promoted to HC. Good for the giants. Bottom of the heap once again.

Giants reportedly were scheduled to interview Josh McDaniels tomorrow which another reason that makes hiring of Judge seem surprising.

He only added WR recently. He is historically a ST coach, and still was for NE. Was also expected to become NE OC should McDaniels get a HC job as expected.

Saban (whom he worked for at AL) and Belichick apparently love him. And Giants are clearly hoping/projecting that he will be another great HC with a ST background like Belichick, Cowher, Levy, Vermeil, and Ditka.

Risky, bold move here.

Soar or crash and burn. To be continued . . .

Yeah. I can't necessarily knock it because it's hard to say which path will lead to success.

We've got the former head coaches who took their teams to the Super Bowl in McCarthy and Rivera and little-talked-about assistant who is looking to basically come out of nowhere.

It's strange to think that our division now has three Super Bowl coaches as head coaches. That was pretty much a given back in the day, but we haven't had it in a while.
