Don't be fooled you will read that he is the guy the Giants wanted all along...they had the chance to match the offer for Ruhle but declined

Im sitting here listening to WFAN and they are talking about the Giants looking to hire Jason Garrett as the OC and Wade Phillips as the DC.

I think my head is going to explode.

NFC East Head Coach Ranking
1. McCarthy
2. Pederson
3. Rivera
4. Judge

You're a hater if you don't agree.

Guess I'm a hater. I would put Pederson first for now. Pederson is proven commodity at Philly. As good as others may or may not be, we have no idea how they will do.

:lmao2: the NYG the last 6 years with these coaching hires makes Jerry look like Bill Belecheck.. not sure what they are thinking...they settled IMO made a desperate move here because they lost their top 3 choices but man how is Mcdaniels not be a better choice?

I mean their WRS were super prolific this year so duh. :lmao2:

I like this hire. His personality is well suited to being a HC.

you made two back to back posts about the guy many of us have no clue about. What do you know about him?

I guess the ST side of it they were a great ST unit but going from that to a HC of the NYG where you will have about 10% of your total time to even add to the ST..who knows its a left field move that could fall flat or they could have found a gem..its reach for sure, if Jerry did this the internet would break..but the Maras will get more wiggle room..

I mean Jerry got a huge fallout from bringing in MM but out of the 3 in the division, it was the best but that my opinion..

Um, the actual Bill Belichick began his own NFL career as a ST coach . . .

But he didn't make the direct leap from being a ST coach to being a head coach. He was a defensive coordinator for several years(a very good DC at that) before getting a head coaching opportunity. He was coaching in the NFL for 16 years before getting the lead job in Cleveland.

A closer comparison is John Harbaugh, but Harbaugh had more years of experience as an assistant at both the college and pro levels prior to getting the job in Baltimore. Judge is extremely raw in comparison.

One of those was a whoops :)

that being said, this was the first article where I started hearing about him. Pats special teams are always well disciplined and excellent and when Belichick gave Judge receivers as well as special teams it seemed like he had a good feeling and as much as I hate him And the Pats, there’s no one in football I respect more than Belichick

Here was another article from early 2019

I wonder if they ever asked him about what type of coaching staff he can put together? Maybe he knows some good high school coaches he wants to bring up?:muttley:

That must have been one hell of an awful phone call with Garrett.
Unless they hire him as OC, the one thing he was actually good at. He would love to run it up on the owner who wouldn’t let him call plays in his final season as head coach....but hopefully we will find a defense and it will never happen.

Carolina will Rue the day they offered that contract. No way this guy sees the end of that 7 year deal.

Garrett was at his coaching summit in Big D.

Take some time off and polish the resume, Jason.

Nothing wrong there.

Good luck.

I wish you well.

No hate here.

You did what Jerrah wanted from you.

Jerrah thanks you.

The rest of us fault Jerrah.

You are off the hook.

Hard to coach with Jerrah hanging from your neck and Stephen from your back pocket.

.Not sure any of us could have done that without losing our minds.

Take your meds. Garrett would be a failure anywhere.
