Tight Ends in the West Coast Offense

"Tight Ends are often the subject of mismatches in this offense if a slower linebacker or smaller safety is tasked with covering the Tight End. These Tight Ends MUST be able to function as a wide receiver when it comes to catching the ball and skillfully running routes."

Jarwin or we draft a 1st round TE? Please don't say Witten.

isn't he the guy who is always injured?

Lol it is. I think the chargers resign him.

2017 - lacerated kidney
2018 - torn acl
2019 - suffered a tibia plateau fracture to his left knee

Here's a name to think about - Eric Ebron. A former Lions 1st round draft pick. He's coming off of a down, injury-plagued 2019, but his 2018 was off t charts. Depending on his asking price, he's as physically talented a TE as you could ask for.

I think this is the way to go. Bring in a solid vet with Jarwin and Schultz. I rather a DT in the 1st or a safety!

Who start at TE next year? not too mention the depth

Jarwin. Who would be starting over a rookie anyway. Unless they were to sign an experienced vet in free agency. This team never starts rookies at the position.

I wonder how high Cole Kmet goes.

Granted we have other positions to address first but it sure would be nice.

To say nothing of cornerback. Brown and Byron Jones are unrestricted free agents, and the defensive backfield as a whole needs a facelift and influx of talent.

corner too, but that large DT in round 1 been a long time coming. Starts in the trenches where they haven't been very good.
