McCarthy and Moore overseeing this bunch of weapons...

Zeke
Cooper
Jarwin
Gallup
Pollard
Cobb
Devin Smith
Whoever they draft

Looking forward to it, behind a revitalized OL.

I don't know who they would target in FA or the draft but if you really add a weapon at TE it could be the move that puts this offense over the top.

If he doesn't command an arm, a leg and a soul of a first born..I'd be interested in signing Austin Hooper. I don't believe ATL will be able to afford him.

From a numbers perspective, the Cowboys already have a top offense. That's not even something I worry about with McCarthy. What I hope to see gone next season, at minimum.

Perennial slow starts and/or stalls in the middle of a game.
Mindblowing in-game decisions
Inconsistent playcalling
Questionable time management
Leaky special teams

Man, I just hope we get some cohesion between the two squads.

Whether it's 20 points or 40 points..I just want the offense to score if the defense isn't cutting it..or the defense to hold when the offense is struggling.

That's not too much to ask for, is it? :D

The Spotrac site has a "market value" feature where show comparable contracts. It lists Hooper with a market value of a 5 year contract for 50 Million. If they could backload some of that into uncapped years I would love that.

Eric Ebron is interesting but he got 13MM for 2 years, any real FA signing will be expensive so I'd rather pay the extra amount for a guy like Hooper.

I'm excited because it's an even numbered year. The Cowboys have been great in even numbered years recently. Garrett was total poop in odd numbered years. Oh crap, what if McCarthy is an odd number kind of guy?

Nevermind, I just checked.....we're good. McCarthy in even numbered years has been to the divisional round, twice to the NFC Championship, and won the Super Bowl. 2020 here we come!

Dak should also be included in that list of weapons. They need to get him scrambling more often though.

If Ebron has cured his case of the "dropsies" and wants to come in on a "prove it" or cheapish 2 year deal, I'd be all for it.

But I completely agree, if you're going to pay a higher premium for a FA TE, Hooper would be that guy.

Cobb or Devin in the slot? Explosive.

Cobb should of have 4 + TDs this year. BS penalties killed his stats.

Yeah, agreed!
We already know McCarthy is is a good organizer and dedicated self starter (he handled the Packers, media, organized a coaching focus group and dedicated himself to returning to coaching)
We know he knows the rule book (from the Dez catch comment)
He's likeable. (Jason made mention of it to Jerry)

So Jane Slater should be checking to see if he has Jason making his phone calls and taking messages for him! There's a scoop in that!

I’m hoping to see some hurry up too. He did with the Packers. Come out the gate in hurry up to get some momentum early.

Getting Cooper back is important. Also drafting a TE to pair with Jarwin. And also getting the OL to play with consistency.
