Dak throws 3 TDs and it's garbage time. Kirk and Jimmy do it and it's leading their team back Haha hypocrite much.

Go look at wins, Dak has more than any other QB not named Brady since he entered the league. Is playoff games not important or big games? Dak has a playoff win, last week and this week are Jimmy G and Cousins first playoff win. By the way Dak has never had a losing record since he has been drafted. Cousins has had plenty of losing seasons and Jimmy G finally finished a season without getting injured.

Its clear you either don't watch these guys play or you personally dislike Dak cause you are looking like a fool at some of the things you say.

Well it's leading the team back because...they actually led the team back to win a few games when behind!

Jimmy G had an excellent game against the Saints and carried the team to victory, Cousins had an excellent games when heavily trailing against the Broncos - Prescott didn't have a game like that this season. That's the difference, a quarterback actually being the main reason why the team won a game.

Prescott did not have any of those games for the Cowboys this season. If we had Andy Dalton we would have still won the same 8 games this season. That's the whole point - Prescott's stats are completely meaningless and a strong indication that they were in garbage time as...they didn't help us score a bunch of points in loads of games or even have a winning record.

I realize some folks expected 3,000 yards after he got paid but that's not real life.

Actually, Brees and I think Wilson now have more wins than Dak since he entered the league, so you’re wrong there. Also, he didn’t have a winning season this season. 8-8 does not qualify as a winning season IMO.

Dak slobberers rarely update their talking points; they just keep churning them out while being blissfully unaware of the reality around them. Just like there are many nimrods on here who still think that Dak was #1 in every QB category and didn’t check the stats after Week 3 to see the many QBs who passed him up, including both Cousins and Garoppolo.

You don't like the QB and look for any demonstrable proof that justifies an irrational hate. And when you can't find any proof, you default to 'eye test'.

I agree with your first two paragraphs. Football is a team game and always has been

Problem is, Dak's supporters incessantly dismiss any criticism of Dak by parroting "his" win loss record.

It's become far too common for many of his supporters to revel in "his" wins, while simultaneously distributing ample blame elsewhere for the "team's" losses

Agreed. I don't know the reason for it, but it'll be interesting to see if that tendency persists with our new HC or not.

I would imagine that a QB hoping to earn $35-$40 million a year would have at least a reasonable record against teams with a winning record to justify such contract demands...

Zimmer isn't a guy to get a team over the hump. Time for Vikings to start discussing a change.

Every team and QB has garbage time. Every QB and team plays bad teams and puts up good stats. On SF's schedule this year? Cincy, Cleveland, Wash, Arizona (2x), Carolina, Atlanta.

It's just funny that when it comes to QB play, stats mean nothing to you. The 'eye test' is a self fulfilling prophecy in which no amount of proof can tell you you're wrong.

But what if Dak's stats were bad? What if he had the supporting cast of a defense that scored points? Turned the ball over? Special teams that could score FGs reliably?

The goal posts are always changing and it's complete BS.

Dak is not a top QB. You won't find anyone arguing that. But he for damn sure is better than the scrubs on the field right now.

Rockport thinks Dak is better than Jackson I think. He says he’s top 3 and elite, so you’re wrong there. You’d be surprised to see how many would name him better than Wilson, Brees, Jackson, Mahomes, Rodgers, Watson, Allen, etc.

Honestly, I never cared about how many yards or TD’s Dak had. I only wanted wins. I want a game where Dak looks competent and consistent. He doesn’t look like that in many games. I’ll give him props for the Vikes and Lions game even though we lost in the Vikes game. He was nowhere near the reason we lost. All these other games he plays a major part in why we lost. Eagles game? Wide open receivers he either overthrew or didn’t see them at all. Bills game? That interception was dumb. Dirt ball to Zeke on 4th down was abysmal. Bears game? Again. Overthrowing everything. Dirt ball to Zeke on 4th down. Lack of communication with Olawale on that one play. Pats game: playing without the glove for half of the game despite playing much better with it in the 2nd half. Must I continue?

Also, you marvel at the 49ers schedule despite us playing the Commanders twice, Giants twice, Dolphins, Lions, Jets (and losing to them). We had the same chance as the 49ers and we blew it. We actually had a higher chance considering we played in a bad division and the 49ers played in a division that actually gave a crap.


I’ll say it again, everyone will see if/when we overpay Dak.

Kirk Cousins was on the Commanders for much of his career. No one can succeed there. Your precious Dak would be ever worse there than he is here. Give him a break. Who truly succeeds in Washington with Snyder at the head? Dak has been given everything he need so to succeed besides maybe an elite HC and he continues to falter.

Name one game this year for Jimmy G where he threw garbage TD’s. His team has never been so far behind to the point where he has to throw garbage TD’s.

Cousins has only had 1-2 games (likely against the Packers) where he may have had a garbage time TD or 2. Compare that to Dak’s 3-4 games with garbage TD’s because he couldn’t score when we were down 7-3 against the Packers, then 14-3 against the Packers. Then 21-3 against the Packers. Or 14-7 against the Bears. Then 21-7 against the Bears.

Like I said though, you’ll see the light if/when we overpay Dak. Just a matter of time....

AmariChill, do you realize that Cousins, nor Garapolo; are on bad teams? Do you realize that better teams, usually have better records? Do you realize, how foolish, some your comments are concerning Dak? Where were Dak's trash stats his first three years?

I would like to see Prescott end up at the Dolphins. Let's see how he gets on at a team without one of the best o-lines and running games in football over the past 4 years. I would love him to shut me up but sadly, he would end up proving me right and as a backup before the season was even up.
