Xavier Woods.

Oh ok, Im trippin. Wasnt sure who you were talking about.

We've been last in the league in turnovers for the last decade. Sure some of it is on the players but I think coaching and scheme are the real culprit.

Id bet money that we see an uptick in INTs and some of these guys who cant buy a turnover will suprise. On the flip side we may have a few more long plays against us.

Dwayne Harris immediately spoke out on the difference between how the Giants practice and go through training camp vs Dallas under Garrett.

But Garrett is a great coach to play for if you don't care about winning. There is zero accountability. You are not expected to improve at all. He has no expectations for anyone. You won't be chewed out. And even if you don't play well, Jerry will reward you with a contract extension.

Cedric Thornton said the opposite when he got here and compared our camp to Philly’s.

I don’t remember Harris’ comments about the Giants and conditioning. I do remember him being a big fan of how they used him on offense.

I could have swore Harris actually said the Cowboys camps were more physical and the Giants was more laid back. @Blackspider214

Pretty insightful discussion.

He said players loved Garrett but they needed new energy. He emphasized this a couple of times during the interview.

He said we have dawgs on defense but we need a "system update". Mentioned the Niners as a team that plays a similar D but they mix up the coverages more and that Dallas needs to do that more.

He defended D-Law's performance this season but said players in general were at fault for the poor tackling throughout the season. Shannon challenged him about the players needing to do more.

They also discuss the Jerry dynamic, X called him "the boss" when his asked about his meddling.

He sounds excited for Mike McCarthy and the new coaching staff.

X is a very thoughtful person but I am disappointed in his play this year. I hope he steps it up next season.

Woods needs some new energy. I am ok with some of the better players talking a little bit but this guy is a 6th rounder coming off a terrible year. Someone like Woods should always be extremely self motivated. He didn’t play like that at all. I can’t stand the former coaching staff but this entire team needs to shut up and just play. I think this guy should be on the bubble to even make the team next season.

Kris Richard destroyed our defense by having no flexibility at all.

Hope your right I think scheme is an issue but 80% of the secondary has stone hands not only are they not in position enough but when they are it bounces of their hands

I'm really looking forward to the books that will be written about the JG years when these players start coming forward with their stories without fear of retribution from the Jones family.

I’m waiting for the book

Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys where every guy has his own soap box.
ditto. Its part of the culture here. THE CULT OF PERSONALITY IF YOU WILL. No real substance mind you lol..just optics, feelings and pushing a narrative that "we are plenty talented" over the last 12 years. Call me crazy but we haven't been talented enough on D. Until we get players that aren't willing to accept mediocrity, it wont change. Me thinks this is why MM and his staff was hired. THEY WILL EVALUATE each guy and then clean house if need be. SICK OF SEEING PLAYERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND ON SHOWS NOT TAKING ACCOUNTABILITY. DLAW AND JAYLON may be example 1 and 2. They want us fans to tell them how great of a human being they are...placate to them and buy their merch. I don't see the fire and love of the game.

we have a bunch of choir boys..GARRETT GUYS...and almost all of them lack accountability and the fire one needs to take over a defense and win. I just don't see it. We have 1 thug and that's Michael bennett. We need to keep that guy. We need more like him. Too much nice on this team. Too much finesse, too much talk...

"You wouldn't find a hand full of guys what doesn't like him."

Amazing how these guys go to school their whole lives, college too and they cant speak properly.

What college did they go to? They should lose their teaching license.

I agree they do drop a lot of balls. That said its really improbable that every DB weve brought in for the last decade is bad at getting INTs. When coaching doesn't want players to turn around for the ball, but would rather face guard it makes it difficult for guys to adjust, for example.
