Guard Zack Martin underwent cleanup surgery on his ankle Tuesday and will be ready to return during the offseason program, according to sources. Martin had been selected to play in the Pro Bowl for the sixth straight season and was named a second-team All Pro. He dealt with back and elbow injuries during the season and started every game, but he will not require surgery for those injuries.

While he was still among the best in the league, he didn't look to be his usual dominant self. Hopefully, this surgery helps to get him back to his lofty perch.

He had a rough year but these injuries explained the reasons. Look forward to have him back at 100% next season
Back injuries for the big boys rarely get better. Doubt he'll ever be 100% again. But still better thsm most. He'll be managing that back for the remainder, like Tyron

It was surprising to see him get stood up and handled at times. And your right about the back injuries, 100% isn't probable

Dak's holding the ball too long. The offensive line is breaking down because they have to hold their blocks so long. Just throw it away Dak, it's not like you're going to get it any closer to the receiver by holding the ball any longer :lmao:

At least he didn't hold out to renegotiate his contract by refusing to have surgery, and he didn't go to Cabo.
:lmao:

Looks like that leaping dolphin tattoo on his ankle got infected; you get what you pay for.

Crazy that he turns 30 this year. Entire 20s wasted on the conman coach.

Add Tyron Smith to that list and many others. Tyron is one of the best LT's of our generation and we wasted him. Martin as well. Thanks Jerry!

It’s amazing how many players have surgery each year
Wrestling around with 300 lb men does a toll on ones body
