I dont think Roger had even played in the NFL yet when. He was Dak's age. Plus Roger had Landry and a great defense. As if it were all Daks fault. SmhGreatness and mediocrity....nice combination. Division titles, NFC championships and Super Bowls vs winning regular season games and one playoff win...again another nice contrast. You can fit all of Dak under Roger’s little fingernail.

Roger was great he also stepped into a situation of having a championship caliber team around him when he started his career. Dallas had played championship games vs the Browns and Green Bay, they played in the SB vs the Colts before Roger took over. I don't recall Dak stepping into that situation.
Dak stepped into a 13-3 caliber team with the most powerful offensive line in football with the top running back in football.Roger was great he also stepped into a situation of having a championship caliber team around him when he started his career. uh oh here it comes 1....2....
Dak stepped into a 13-3 caliber team with the most powerful offensive line in football with the top running back in football.
He's had ample talent around him to be successful.
He responded by going 8-8 this year in the weakest division in the NFL.
The Cowboys best team was in 2015. They won only 4 games because Jason Garrett was lost without Romo and didn't try to win but the 2015 team should have contended for a Super Bowl with Brandon Weeden, and would have if Garrett hadn't been so incompetent.2015 Dallas had 4 wins Dak drafted and started the 2016 season in which Dallas won 13. Get your facts right.

When fans of other teams say cowboys have one of the worst fanbase in the NFL. I see why. How the hell is throwing for 5,000 yards and a 3 to 1 td:int ratio mediocre?Greatness and mediocrity....nice combination. Those four wins came with Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel, along with Joseph Randle starting the year at tailback. It was circumstantial because Romo was hurt and Demarco was gone. The previous year was 12-4 with a referee's call ending it in Green Bay on Dez' catch.2015 Dallas had 4 wins Dak drafted and started the 2016 season in which Dallas won 13. Get your facts right.
13 and 3 team that was 4-12 the previous year. Yeah okDak stepped into a 13-3 caliber team with the most powerful offensive line in football with the top running back in football.

And 12-4 the year before.13 and 3 team that was 4-12 the previous year. Yeah ok

Dak showed up the same time Zeke was drafted for Romo and the best offense in the NFL, and a schedule against almost all losing teams. Even more circumstantial.
Those are the facts.
Dak inherited the best offense for a rookie in the history of the NFL.I don't want to hear your excuses. Fact Dak walked in as a rookie on a team that just came off a 4-12 season. He did not walk into a great situation and fact is we had won nothing even with Romo. Roger stepped into a situation where the Cowboys were playing for titles already. Dallas has not played in a title game in over 25 years. Not even close to the same.
