After hearing MM's comments during this week; not changing the verbage of the calls, allowing Kellen Moore is continue calling the plays, in my opinion, the offense most likely will stay intact. There will no be a major overhaul at all, more of tweaking the unit.

I fully expect all the offensive fa's to return: Dak, Copper, Cobb, Jarwin. We are all not sure about Witten at this time, but many of us believe he is more of a progress stopper at this point. Perhaps the team adds a veteran TE if he departs, might use a draft pick to help the depth at the position.

MM has used a traditional FB in the past, that's a position to keep our eye on. I would like to see the team add a big, possession/red zone type of receiver, who knows if they want such a player for the offense.

Point is the offense personnel isn't changing, at least for next season. They may look to overhaul the other two units, but it's not happening here!

That big possession type WR could be Noah Brown, if he stays healthy.
I also would like to see them use Devin Smith, as the lame ex coaching staff refused to do.

Both players know how to get open. Smith with the speed, Brown with the size.

I agree, I think the offense stays pretty much the same personnel.
Olawale is a club option to keep or not, So we will see what MM decides in there.

Seems to make a lots of sense to me
Add in new stuff now and build off what worked
We know we stopped ourselves many of the times last year
Get the basics of his system down this camp, work in a bit more as the season goes on
Many teams struggle initially when they change systems and this approach could be a way to prevent that learning curve

Just from a numbers perspective keeping the offensive players allows you to go all in on the D in FA and the draft

If MM wants to use a fullback, I release Olawale immediately. I’m not spending big on purely a special teams guy 1.7, 2 million over two years.

I take that money and immediately sign CJ Ham from Minnesota. Instant upgrade

QB - Dak
RB - Zeke, Pollard
FB - Ham
WR - Cooper, Gallup, Cobb, Smith, Brown / Rookie
TE - Jarwin, Schultz, Rookie / FA
LT - Smith
LG - McGovern
C - Frederick
RG - Martin
RT - Collins

OL depth - Hyatt, Williams, Sua-Filo, FA LT

I’m not sure we shell out decent money for Looney. I would love Jumbo back, but if he’s looking to cash in, no thanks. Fleming is decent, but not worth the 4 mil cap hit. But Dallas may decide to keep him due to Smith likely missing his usual 2-3 games.

This times 1000. It’s how I want us to approach the offseason. Lock up Dak, Cooper, Cobb and just invest in the defense

In your scenario, if McGovern wins the LG job, the team develop Connor Williams as the backup, swing tackle. This would allow the team to move on from Fleming.

That is true. In which case, that 4 million for Fleming is worth it. Let Williams learn and let Fleming continue to do his job for another year.

Thats fine with me

we have the weapons on offense but a weapon is only as good as the dudes firing it

the best shotgun in the world isnt good from 10 miles away

maybe now we can get a real honest-to-goodness full-back.
Anthony Sherman,Chiefs is a f/a...he'd be a significant up-grade.

Why change when we have so much talent and we're so close to a super bowl. I'm not sure why we even changed coaches when we're so close.

A play here, a first down there. Super Bowl.

I believe this off-season will be more about starting to rebuild the other two units, Defense & Special Teams.
Player wise I think it has to be
System wise I think they add in some new concepts now and more next year
Player wise I’d keep as much as I can on offense
Dak, Cooper, Cobb
On Defense I get deep into FA
I go get a DT like reader, and another lesser one
If kinlaw is there I take him, if not I go secondary
Not just because of need but that’s where I think the quality will be
One of our CB’s we need to sign and draft one and if I could find the quality I’d take 2
I think 17 is where I take kinlaw if he’s there or safety. Again not just for need but where I think the quality will be

We just need a little guy or two that can run and a TE. Mike loves multiple WR’s besides the top 3.

The verbiage better change as the Clown is now the OC of the Gnats. Also, Witten should be the backup at this point, Jarwin should start. It would be nice additions to get a bruising BA fullback and a big bodied WR for the endzone. ST needs a complete overhaul, and we need serious defensive line improvements and a top safety would be a plus.

Brown and Smith, added to Cooper, Gallup and Cobb? That’s a good group, IMO. They’ll likely add a TE, but I expect/hope they concentrate on defense. Add S, DT, LB and strengthen ST!

Im not sure why Smith didn’t play special teams. He was an elite gunner in college. Smith and Goodwin make two solid gunners
