Because of my masochistic tendencies, I decided to fire up this game again.

It is the first time I have watched it since it happened.

It is amazing the perspective you don't get when watching it in the heat of the moment. You see little nuances you missed the first time.

What was so shocking to me was the lack of urgency that the whole team had. It was like they did not care.

Cooper was especially disappointing. Prescott was not on point.

And the defense, well, we know how they underachieved.

I just remember being mad about the game, but watching it again just was depressing.

It makes me wonder if they had no desire to win, because it sure looked like it.

I would encourage everyone who can watch it again do so and then start to decide how they feel about the talent on this team.

Oh, it was pretty clear in real time. I don't need or want to watch it again.

I know. But you can never learn if you do not revisit the past.

There were numerous opportunities the players, not the coaches, had in that game.

I know it is all fun and games to focus on the new staff, but some of these players really lacked focus in that game.

And it was not the fringe guys. The money players spit the bit so hard.

Yep. It was the first game where I actually felt like the players quit. There were moments in other games where certain players seemed lackadaisical, but I never thought they'd just flat given up the game until the Eagles.

Watching it again, did you notice anything about Dak’s throws that led you to believe his shoulder was impacting him more than he let on?

I know the media was saying that afterwards but just curious what you saw since it’s fresh in your mind

It is not like I could say, wow, Prescott was just off. He has had games like that before.

He is not exactly Mr. Accurate. There were some things where he made bad throws that were high.

But overall, no. It did not look like he was throwing with a bum shoulder to the point that you can say he was playing hurt.

That was the worst part watching it.

To a player, it just did not see like anyone had any juice. There was no energy.

It was like they were tired or even bored.

Which was so weird considering how excited they were in the Rams game.

It was almost like they felt that game decided the season and that the Eagles as beaten up as they were would just fold.

People please don't fall into this BS. To many people want to judge players or a team based on a couple bad plays or a bad game. Professionals that evaluate players and/or teams do so but not on such a small sample. That is foolishness. Did the Cowboys play badly in the game, you bet they did. Is that one game the entire measuring stick for all the players - HELL NO!

..... had multiple opportunities playing against teams that were shorthanded and never could get them to play with a sense of urgency. I am glad ...... is finally out of Dallas.

There is no question that there was a distinct lack of killer instinct, where it seemed like the team underestimated how opponents would rise to the occasion.

I just hope this kind of arrogance is what left with Garrett.

So in a game that means everything, you just do what, evaluate on an average of all of them?

Really? This is one of the dumbest takes I have ever seen on this forum and that is saying a lot.

Nobody said that's who this team is. Just that that's how they looked in that game.

I'll save rewatching that low moment for the new coaching staff so they can figure out how to fix it.

Actually, this game showed the character of the 2019 Dallas Cowboys.

I can tell you the Eagles feel better seeing a team that realistically was overmatched rise up and win.
I'm hesitant to say that, especially after the Rams game.

They can pick it apart technically and there are some spots where you can look at the design and play call.

But there were some spots where the focus was not there and I hope they notice that too.
