I’m thinking not the highest paid but still 30m a year. So 150M for 5 yrs....or he could play on the tag

Don’t be dramatic. If we can get 8 win with that terrible coaching staff, then we should easily get 8 with MC

We will have alot less talent on this team going forward. And while At will get better I don't the O or D gets better anytime soon. The void of talent on the defense worries me.

Go look at any playoff team and what you notice is this. Typically if a team has a highly paid QB they don't have to pay all of their OL, a RB and wr big money so they can concentrate on building a defense. I'm sure we will add some defensive pieces in FA but we shall see what they do and if all the new faces gell or not.

O most of us just seem to understand what others cannot.
Dak Prescott is not an «elite » QB, never will be...

However, I agree he will get a record contract after he sits out training camp in Cabo and forces Jerrahs hand.
Just like his good buddy did
Nah, I think I was right the first time.

Sadly, it’s the market. Middle tier and above average guys will be paid highly based off the market
The “market” doesn’t have a weapon on the Cowboys that says they have to pay it. So that’s the market talk is flimsy honestly. They should do him like Cousins if he doesn’t sign for their price.

I’m holding out hope.

Stephen has made it pretty clear in the past that Dak needs pieces around him and that paying him would make it difficult.

They could’ve had Dak signed whenever they wanted and yet they chose not to.

I don’t think Daks play this year made anyone change their mind about the type of QB he is.

I don’t know why they didn’t hold Dak’s hand and make him sign as you suggest, you know, because they could have “made him“ sign ”anytime they wanted”.

No deal as per the article was ever on the table and it won't come this offseason as its a fantasy just like Dak greatness is.;.....
Even Jerry knows he sucks....
