Some posters complain that other teams have “lapped us” in rebuilding but think Witten deserves to stay because he has “earned the right”.

Those same people want to keep Lee because he is a coach on the field.

Some of those same people want to bring back Dez because he is a “beast”.

Those same people want to plan on Tyron and Zack Martin playing 5 more years.

And they also want to keep Crawford for his “versatility”.

Those same posters also make excuses for Tank’s underperformance this past year.

Good times. Lol.

Seek to understand, before being understood.

Every man, woman, and child on this planet are their own individual selves. Any reasonable person would realize that variating opinions will come from variating individuals. Opinions vary. So to lump everyone together then say something is wrong with them could be considered illogical by some.

Too much turnover of our field personnel could have a negative outcome. So keeping Witten and Lee makes sense to some.
We've struggled to score in the redzone here recently. So bringing back Dez could help remedy some of our scoring woes.
On a 46 man gameday roster, if injuries occur during the game, having Crawford could prove useful.
Both Tyron and Zack are 29 years old. Several linemen have played well enough to keep their starting jobs at 34. If Smith and Zack can do that then good for them. If they can't, those that planned on them playing another five years can just as easily change their minds.

We all want what's best for the team. But we all are going to have our own individual ideas about what that entails. So are we a confused bunch? No. Do we have a bunch of differentiating ideas? Yes. Why? Because opinions vary just like beliefs.

We all want what's best for the team.

Witten is done and won't have a roster spot next season.
Lee IS worth keeping around but not as a starter.
Any talk of Dez, in any capacity, is ridiculous.
Tyron and Zack are excellent but 5 years is way too optimistic.
Crawford is above average and that is all he is.
Tank is inconsistant but still a game changer when on it.
I am neither confused nor deluded.
Thank you.

Oh I like this post..

You can harvest enough clicks on this thread to retire from posting.

I wish I had thought of this thread.

Oh..and put me down for wanting Dez back.

Thanks.

Nice ring to it..

The first..the original, the never to be outdone "Perpetual Thead".

Brilliant Watson. I believe we have solved it.

So, what your saying is that all the fans don't agree on everything 100% of the time. Nice insight.

Few years back, a poster was complaining about the number of drops for Roy Williams. I pointed out that his hero, Miles Austin, had a very high number of drops, led the NFL I think. He immediately asked where I got those stats from. "Same place you got the ones for ol' RoyW from." Crickets.

True. But the way some members talk/treat other members makes it hard to believe they're cheering for the same team.
Totally agree! Problem is not everyone sees the same problems with the team and when their ideas clash is when some people cant take it.
