3 of the 4 teams got new HC and staffs, and Phil had a good HC already, so it is going to be a different division.

Washington got Rivera, who is stuck with haskins at QB, but maybe he can develop him, if so it is going to be
a vastly different Commander team, no easy wins for Dallas there.

NYG got Judge, a young eager HC, and the great OC Jason Garrett !!
But I still expect them to be way better because Judge could be and I have a feeling he will be way better
HC than what they have had since Coughlin left.

Also JG is doing what he loves again calling plays, and you know he wants to beat dallas, and I think
he will be better at OC now than what he was early on in Dallas.

Why? Being fired can motivate, and he did learn from his dallas years, and most of all
I think Jones as QB suits JG's style of offense better than Romo or Dak.
He has a top RB, and did learn how to use the run game in dallas.
So I dont think Cowboys can plan on sweeping the giants or Commanders this year.

Phil has a good defense, but need to fix some things on offense, or they could find themselves out of it .
Even so I figure they might still be better this coming season, have to wait and see if they get a RB,
and what they do at WR.

Dallas New HC and mostly all new staff, and new approach, they have to be better.
Last year most of their wins came from beating these div teams, I think 5 of the 8 wins lol, so
they cant count on that this season.
Even so I expect them to contend for Div title, which will mean more than in years past.

I think the Div games will be tougher to win this season, with all the new HC's trying to win these games
more so than in the past.

Mike always dominated the north division, so I think he will try to do that in the east too.

I think all this makes next season much more exciting, not only do we have a new seasoned HC,
but the Commanders do too, and as I said Judge may be good, and JG is there to advise him lol so who knows
what they will be like, but I think that JG may get their offense doing better than last year.
Then Phil, they will still be good, so I just wonder who will win the div , and who winds up at the bottom?

It was inevitable some of those bad teams would get better. Commanders and Giants both have young players who will get better and two franchise quarterbacks that will get better. I don’t know how good they will be but I don’t expect any 20 point beat downs or cakewalks.

Couple of questions for you.
1. What makes you think that a WR coach from last year will be a good head coach? What has he done to show you that?
2. How does D. Jones suit Garrett's style better than Romo or Dak?
3. You really think that McCarthy will try to dominate the east? Way to go out on a limb there.

I think Was and NYG will be improved, but not by much. They have too many holes on both sides of the ball to make a big leap in one year. Philly has to do something about WR or they will be looking at another 8-8, 9-7 type season.

Yea I don’t see any marked improvement from Skins and Giants to the point where they would be significantly better than last year.

Those teams are still rebuilding teams and would need more than an offseason to be truly competitive. Plus with new coaching staffs and barren rosters it’s not likely that there will be any significant steps forward.

I see the Giants and Skins hovering around 6-7 wins. Not enough to make me fear them next year.

Judge was also their special teams coach. Probably the best unit in the league. I would not let his prior occupation dictate what he will do in the future.

At this point, Giants and Skins have talent issues they still have to work through even if their coaches are immediately hits.

It's basically us and Philly for the division in 2020. But FA and the draft obviously could shake things up.

Giants are one playmaker away and a lineman away from being a solid team. Commanders.....they can actually make the biggest jump if they can get Guice healthy. They will run you to death and play defense. A good recipe.

Nah, the Skins and Giants will still be terrible. The Eagles would need a miracle to improve.

The Eagles won the division with a team that was ravaged by injuries. It's not hard to see them improve a bit if (yes, that's a big if) they can stay healthy.

Giants defense is trash. They need more help on that side of the ball to be a solid team. They were one of the worst defenses in the league last year.

Yeah it’s too early for me to say that before free agency and the draft happens. Also you have to factor in Daniel Jones and Dwayne Haskins will be much better.

Maybe they will be better, maybe they won't. But it's not just the QBs holding them back. The Giants defense was dreadful last year. Hard to fix that all in one offseason.

I’m referencing the Commanders defense and run game.

Giants will have a solid offense. Defensively they won’t be up to par but it’s not like this division is full of great defenses.

A solid *offense. They literally need players at every level of the defense and I’m not convinced Daniel Jones is a good QB. Defensively the Giants have miles to go.

Skins might need 3 new o lineman, they need another WR, they need a TE, Guice can’t stay healthy, and Haskins is still undecided. They have a good d line and they play hard at times, that’s about all they have man.

Both these teams are a few offseasons away from being winning teams. Will they be a cakewalk? No division game is. But they will not be significantly better than last year.

They don’t need to be a great defense. My prediction on them being better is mostly about that offense. I really like what they got from Slayton last year. Still have Golden Tate and Shepherd. Evan Engram. Saqoun....add a first round picking whether it’s a lineman or a skill position? They have the personnel to do whatever they want. It’s gonna come down to coaching and who knows there.

I hear you but what defense in the NFC East scares you? Commanders potentially could be the best if Rivera does what he’s suppose to do.
