Better supporting cast Dak or Mahomes

yup, most of 49ers money is in the defense. Literally all our money is in the offense and it's still handicapped at this point, and the issue will be 100x worse if Dak gets paid.
Yea

The only way to build the defense with bulk of our Cap on offense is consistently hitting in draft . Which unfortunately most of our misses in draft have been on defense.

It’s just not feasible to expect Cowboys to contend for a championship without an Elite defense or QB.

We'll disagree on OL. Ours WAS better, but it isn't at this point.

And while Cooper is good enough, Tyreek changes games, and lots of them. And ours drop a lot more passes than theirs when it matters.

I think Dallas fans, and the media for whatever reason, way overestimate the players in this team.
So disagreeing with the OL makes me way over estimate the players?

Edit: not the op

Which QB has the better overall team?

Coaching: Mahomes
WRs: Mahomes
TEs: Mahomes
OL: push
RB: Dak ( although Williams should have been SB MVP)

DL: Mahomes
LBs: Push
S: Mahomes
CBs: Mahomes

Special Teams: Mahomes
WR probably a push

The BS in that post stinks to high heaven. It's February and you have no idea what "help" Dak will have in 2020 so stop pretending otherwise. Dak just finished his 4th season in the league and you would have us believe "his time to win has now passed"? It's laughable that you think you can get away with a ridiculous comment like that. Do you think your own inability to fathom how the sausage is made in the Cowboys FO means anything? The only thing you have reveal with certainty is your own ignorance.

We know you struggle with simple concepts. Dak is an average QB at best. I believe we lose more talent via free agency then we can replace including through the draft. Not sure why you cant fathom this but that's a you problem.

Put it this way, you give 20 opposing defensive coordinators the choice of which offense they would rather face on a given week, 20 out of 20 times they are choosing Dallas. Remove QB from the equation, MAYBE that drops to 15 out of 20. Obviously i have no way to prove that - just my opinion...

I cant believe there is actually a discussion concerning Dak/Mahomes. Dak is a very good QB. Mahomes is a generational player. You're watching the new version of Aaron Rodgers only scratching the surface. Let's cut the foolishness.

Dallas has the advantage at RB and OL.

KC IMO has a sizable advantage at pass catchers, WR and TE. Hill and Kelce force defenses to routinely use double-coverage, sometimes simultaneously. Then you still have to deal with the speed/quickness of Watkins and Hardman. No slight to our WRs because Cooper and Gallup are a good duo.

It also doesn't hurt to have a HOF coach in Andy Reid running the offense.

Pardon me ma'am, I apologize for talking to you like a guy. I hope I didn't offend your effeminize disposition. I'll make a note for future reference that kid's gloves are required to exchange words with you. Now please excuse me so I can go talk football with the fellas. How about you go make yourself useful by making me a sandwich, buttercup. :p

Their defense wouldn't have helped when we lost to the Eagles 17-9 for the division title

The offense kind of has to usually score a touchdown and stuff
That would have been like so cool!

Thinking we may not see one of those for a very long time...
Never know. Might be one next year in Trevor Lawrence.

I followed Texas Tech and sure didn’t see this type of Mahomes in NFL. You just never know.

It certainly helps when you throw a talented QB into a good situation. Most of these highly talented and drafted QB go to crap teams and bad situations.

Just some stats I stole from a thread on Reddit:

Just for a fun numbers game:

If we take our point differential in the 8 games we lost it’s -48.

We had 30 points in missed field goals. Before we factor in leagues worst avg starting position on offense and defense.

Even with all that if we had just been around league average in kicking we would have had 21 more points and 2-3 more wins.

If that wasn’t bad enough our coaches were so inept, we were 32nd in the league for field goal accuracy, but we were FIRST in the league for attempts.

Heh. We were SO bad in a few areas that it completely sunk us.

You just proved you can't talk football and have to resort to little insults. Seems you are the one that is butthurt.

It must be that time of the month for you. You seem a wee bit irritable. You should take some time off and return when you are in a better mood.

If Mahomes was here, Dallas would have probably been in the Super Bowl.

Would have beaten the Bears, Bills, Jets, and Eagles for sure.

Under Garrett? I think there's a good possibility we would be having similar debates to those some fans are having now about Prescott.
