The Cowboys should get Case Keenum and give him a four year deal.
He would be an upgrade immediately, and at worst would solidify the Cowboys at quarterback if they do eventually sign Dak.
Phillip Rivers is also available, and is an upgrade.
Ryan Tannehill is available.
The Cowboys don't have to be in this soap opera with a guy who went 8-8 but wants to be paid like he is a proven winner.
Signing a veteran like Keenum- who has been a winner- would likely change Dak's attitude towards a new contract.
But I believe that the Cowboys would make it to the NFC Championship game next year with a guy like Keenum under center.

oh my god - look people, i'm not a huge dak fan but this current pop-fad crap of bringing in someone who's never done a thing as if they're just as good is idiotic and not helping your anti-dak arguments with anyone who graduated the 6th grade. with or without honors.

You don't let a top 10 QB go, regardless of cost, unless you have a Mahomes waiting in the wings. You just don't. You can win a SB with Dak. You might even win a SB because of Dak.

Case Keenum? Are we actively trying to get worse?

Dak not a proven winner but has won the 2nd most games since he entered the league. You're pathetic

An upgrade to whom? Rush? Pass on Keenum. Vikings caught lightening in a bottle with him a few years ago, but he ain't taking anyone to the promised land.

Case Keenum? Lmao. He was the QB for the Vikings when they got the 2 seed and made the NFC title game a few years ago and even they did not believe in him and went out and got Cousins to replace him.

You are out of your mind if you think Keenum is an upgrade to Dak. Good lord.

Keenum could be had very cheap. Foles could be traded for, Winston could be had
There are options if we don't want to pay 35 million plus. If our coaching staff and FO are game let's move on.
Do we believe in the rest of the infrastructure of the team? Dak is slightly below Cousins in terms of talent. Cousins is a more accurate short and long passer. I dont think he is worth 28 mllion a year. I think Goff is severely overpaid.
Wentz cant stay on the field. Has not won a playoff game.
If you tell me the Cowboys go cheap at QB, and sign Chris Jones, Amari Cooper, Shaq Barrett I am good with it. Build up the rest of the team and give me an average QB. Dak is just above average. He is no Wilson, Rodgers. He is not a game changer.
